My family lines are Jarosek, Urbanek, Owen, and Evans. |
I am not related to anyone buried in RoseHill, Ardmore, OK.
I have been a member for quite some time now and have enjoyed it. Not all of the information links were available when most of my memorials were created but I am trying to catch up. Your help is much appreciated. I hope that what I have done so far has been a help to you.
Feel free to send information you would like to see added. I have had people send me family information, I added it, and later I have gotten not so nice emails from another person claiming to be family and that the information is wrong. So now I add it to the bio stating that a member sent me the information. I hope this helps.
Enjoy this site and happy hunting!
Note: I got a message about the Edit messages. If I have offended anyone, please believe it was not my intent. I actually had no idea what to do with those edit suggestion links. I had over 100 when I discovered them. I did not know how to use the system, so changed manually to the suggestions and then put ignore because I thought it would go away. Took this " not used the new stuff" member to understand how simple it was. Anyway I did not intend to undermine anyone, I thought I was doing good making the changes. Soooo sorry!! Also, there was quite a few that even said "no changes" so what could I do?

|Reirdon-Brown||Harley Poe Brown|
Please remove this family and the census records as being buried in Ardmore. He is buried in the Fairview Cemetery Mayes County Oklahoma with several of his children. He was born 1868 in Iowa and died 1941. You will find this on Find A Grave and it agrees with the census records you have shown and you will also find him on the 1940 census. His family records also state that his name was Harley Page Brown. This Harley P Brown has no connection to Harry Poe Brown who is actually buried in the Rose Hill Cemetery.
You have confused him with Harry Poe Brown b. 1865 d. 1933 and is buried in Ardmore Oklahoma Rose Hill cemetery. Harry Poe Brown was the husband of Emma Brown and is buried on a double stone with her. Their child Poe Brown Sr. was my father-in-law.

Good morning! I am writing to see if you would consider transferring management over my great-aunts memorial to me. I am creating memorials for her brothers and sisters and her parents and grandparents and it would just be helpful if I have access to her memorial. Thank you!

This is my aunt. Her name was Norma Lucille. Feel free to ask if you have any other questions.
|Scott Black||Edgar Joines - Rose Hill Cem|
Hello and thanks for all your hard work. I was wondering about the memorial below for Edgar Joines died July 1901. Memorial is in the Rose Hill Cem. Do you by chance know if the info was taken from a register or marker? The Joines family did not live in Ardmore in 1901. Curious. Thank you, Soctt

I was wondering if you are related to Mary? You did a lovely job with the Ashby Cemetery. Mary was the sister of my 5x great grandfather.

Teresa, Thank you the update on Frances Ann Scroggins Beaver with adding her maiden name to her Memorial.
Have a great week,

Teresa: Sorry, error in my previous message. Edwin Lucian Glover died 1958, not in 1980s. Nonetheless, there's no conflict in dates for him to be a full brother to Essie May. THX, Gloria Reck
