Bio and Links
Bio Photo I applaud everyone for their additions to Find A Grave. I have found a lot of burials on this site for family members.

Please do not hesitate to leave me a message if you have something NICE to say about anyone. If you want to be unkind, please do not leave a message. I will delete it.
(quote above copied from DaveV)

Also, if I have added a photo you would like to have a copy of, feel free to copy from the memorial page. That is the reason I put it there.

The memorials I have added have been made to assist those who do genealogy. They are not intended to hurt or upset anyone. If one has been posted that you prefer does not appear, just kindly contact me and it will be removed immediately upon request. (love this quote from T M & M L)

If you find a memorial I have made and I have placed it in the wrong cemetery location (so many cemeteries have the same name), DO NOT send me a nasty email. I will ignore it! I try to place them correctly and if the paper says MEMORIAL SERVICE, this usually indicates a cremation. The family may later place a marker in the Family Cemetery plot. If you see one of these for my memorial, I will correct it. No need for hateful comments telling me not to add memorials if I don't know the burial place.

I, like most others on Find A Grave, check a cemetery list before adding any memorials. If the name is not there, I add it. However, there are some folks who have made memorials and put “BURIAL UNKNOWN”. Then eventually correct theirs, making another LOOK like a duplicate. It does not matter what the Date stamp on your memorial is. If the memorial was not in the cemetery list then it should be deleted when you see another person has it correctly added. Do not send them an email stating DUPLICATE.

There are some oversights, I understand this. I have overlooked a memorial before as well. But there is also a LOT of memorials on here with no cemetery listed. It is not fair that we have to delete the memorial we add correctly when another memorial is moved. I have sent an email and received a response from FAG about this. THEY WILL BE CHECKING! (JS) :)

Still waiting on MY Edits to be accepted! I approve yours.......... show me the same courtesy!

CSA marker requests for Nathan W. Gibson
Thank you for adding the CSA marker request photos to the Nathan W. Gibson memorials. I would like to clarify them. There are two Nathan W. Gibsons both born the same year and died about the same time. They have different parents and different wives. One is buried in the family cemetery and one is buried in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery. But they are entirely two different people. If you will look closely on the marker requests you will see on one that it is written in the top left that they are two different persons. They even served in the same CSA unit. These are two confusing families even within the family descendants.

Are you kin to the Bolens or Bonnettes? Do you have any more documentation mentioning them?

Ben Scott Record
Thanks so much for posting information on Ben Scott,my Grand Uncle. I found this page through Am sending my niece, also from San Antonio, to photograph the family plot. (I live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan). I have attached two photos of Ben and one of him and his wife Pearl. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to do this!
