|Bio and Links|
My Name is Ronald A. Sykes, Sr, and have been working on my family History for over 40 years. |
Any additional information, adding bio's, changing .or adding names, dates and location can be done, without asking me, by hitting the edit button.
With the new system of FaG, I OK the links, and changes, without question. However, this also means, I may or may not have linked or corrected memorials.
I am more than happy to any correct a problem, or link family members. As far as Transfer goes, please look at the rules set down by Find a Grave, before asking. I will take a look on a case to case basis, but normally follow those rules. Demands from, or rude people are always ignored. If you would like credit for something added, either put it in the bio section, or let me know and I will add it for you.
I normally make all requests within 24 hours. If not, don't worry, I will get to it. Sometimes, I take a day off, too.
AGAIN. I follow the rules of Find A Grave dealing with Transfers. I will make an exception on a case to case bases. However, those who are rude, or feel they have some kind of right, need not request.
You My permission to use any of my Headstone photo, for your personal use.

I was wondering if maybe you were able to read the words on Hazel's headstone. If you could, it would be nice to add them in Marker Transcription on her memorial. I can make out most of it except for the word before 1951.

I think you misunderstood. It is helpful to send a link with your notice of a duplicate if the names don't match exactly. I too search for duplicates before creating. But it is easy to miss an issue where someone has three names and a nick name and your records only use the nick name. Nicknames don't come up in a search. I missed it when I made the memorial and I missed it the first time I search when you indicated it was a dupe. A simple cut and past of the URL link from the address bar would have taken me directly to the original memorial. I do try really hard not to create dupes and I really do appreciate them being pointed out to me if I make an error. Thank you
well.. now I found her. Anna Marth Helena "Lena" Groth. No wonder I missed her. It really helps to include links when you send dupe messages. Thanks
You left a message this was a duplicate with no details. I don't find any other Lena Groth in the cemetery or county. Please send details.

Hi, Are you sure it was George Benton I sent you wrong info on? So far I don't see it so can't make the correction on it. Sue

There is a note on this listing saying you provided the marriage information. Melinda is my great-grandmother, through son, Osro Polk.
We were aware of the marriage to Orvin -- I even have a newpaper clipping somewhere -- but never heard about Broom. Do you know the source of that information?

My grandfather was Joseph R. Wilson...memorial # 20942911
I appreciate you taking a picture of his grave. I was wondering where and how you got the information that his middle name was Ray.
I've been thinking that his middle name was Robert or Roberts.I've been trying to do genealogy on him, but haven't been able to find out who his father was without guessing. If you're sure his middle name is Ray and that he was born in N. Carolina, then that helps me greatly.
Again thank you.

I took over the memorial of my husband's g.g.g.uncle from you (Find A Grave Memorial# 42737247) . Thank you!
Another member posted incorrect photos (the man's daughter's headstone in a different cemetery/state). I can't remove the photos myself. I've created a new memorial, at a descendent's request, and already changed the family bio links.
Would you please delete this memorial for me?
