Bio and Links
Bio Photo People have been submitted by spreadsheets over the years. Attempts have been made to eliminate living people and duplicates. If you believe a living person is included, you should submit proof to me via findagrave correction. Just because there is no date on a headstone does not mean someone is alive.

Google and other searches do not prove someone is alive, I can google many people in my tree that google would show to be well over 100 years old that I know in fact are dead.

Do not ask me to transfer if you are not related it will not happen!!!

You must love it when another volunteer on this site tries to get you in trouble for things when they violate FAGR rules everyday

Yes, I know there is an edit button no kidding. I will get to it as I can. Fortunately, I do not live on this site.

While I have thousands of memorials at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Rochester. They are all added based on the actual records in the office. In many cases these records only listed people as Mr. Ms, Miss. exc... I choose to leave these records as they are unless someone has added a headstone and the dates match the cemetery index I have in my posession.

Unfortunately I used to change them as unknown but I have learned over time people assume they are there family when in fact they are not and the dates do not match at all per the records of the cemetery.

Because of this reason it takes me some time to vent the record changes at this particular cemetery because I look each and every record up as time allows to ensure the accuracy.

Memorial data error for Philip Edington
Mr. VerStreate,

As I searched my family I can across an error on the death date for Philip Edington,Find-A-Grave Memorial #28115869. According to the date on the headstone in the picture accompanying this memorial Philip died on Oct. 16th. The memorial shows Oct. 6th. Dang typos. Just thought you would want to know. Thank you for capturing and posting all the information you have.

Sincerely,
Stephen

Eugene Casler
Great to see all the Mount Hope names and related information. Just a note... on Eugene Casler, he is buried with his father (Marcus) and several other relatives in the same plot (63812063). The site was originally owned by Caroline Elmira Davis, who married Marcus, with whom she had Eugene. Eugene died very young, and both he and Marcus are in the same plot with a fading headstone that has their names. Caroline married again, to Morris B. Tooker, and they had a son Pierson. Caroline (Elmira Davis Casler Tooker) was eventually cremated and her remains interred in the same plot; her son Pierson Tooker was interred likewise after being cremated in the same plot. Caroline's second husband, Morris B Tooker (father of Pierson) was buried in St. Mary's Cemetery in Niagara Falls, NY, where the family had lived in the latter years of the 19th century.

Seith family in Mount Hope Rocherter NY
Daryl,
I researching Johann Georg Seith. I believe you have him as 41360986, his wife Christina Friederika 41360985 and Margaret 41360987 all buried in Mount Hope Rochester, NY. Can you tell me if there are headstones and are they all in the same lot. Are there any birth dates listed on the stones. Do you have any more information on this family. They had a son Georg Friedrich Seith born Sept 8, 1841 and a daughter Christina Wilhelminia born June 24, 1844 and all came from Liedolsheim Baden Germany. I think Magaret could be the dtr of the son georg.
Thanks for any help you can give me.
