or click on the ‘Lycoming Co Veterans' link under my friends.

Please stop by and check out and pay a visit to the veterans interned Lycoming County.

Note:
More than happy to make corrections and add relationship links to other memorials. Please use the "Edit" tab to submit corrections, additions or transfer request.

Please remember that cemetery listings are primary a historical record, which can be a great help to genealogical research. It is not important who manages the information as much as having it available to the public for research. The listings and/or memorials are not up for grabs based on lineage. Therefore I do not transfers memorials based these. I will continue to transfer memorials within Find A Grave guidelines and those that have been sponsored.
If you are considering asking for a transfer; read the Find A Grave guidelines.

Note from the FAQs:
How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?

Bulk surname requests should not be made.

Find A Grave Memorial# 42451245

I am wondering where you found your info on parents.
I believe this is probably Aaron Williamson, son of Alexander Williamson and Christina Dena Sherman Williamson. He has siblings buried in this cemetery and he names his two children after a brother and a sister, Daniel and Hannah. I checked info in ancestry.com and its possible John and Lydia's son, Aaron was not killed in the war.
Please let me know what you think.
Thank you,

Incorrect birth date (year)
Memorial #46099014

Lydia Spencer

Birth: Sep. 8, 1821
Death: Sep. 22, 1886

Family links:
Spouse:
Lorenzo Doud Spencer (1820 - 1896)*

Children:
Martha Adaliza Spencer Belcher (1846 - 1908)*

You have the birth year listed as 1824 but a careful look at the stone shows it is 1824.
The < of the 4 is faint but there. If it was a 1 it would be carved further to the left of the stone.

Revision requested for my great-grandmother's birth information,Memorial# 45739955

which currently reads:
Birth: Aug. 2, 1869
Scranton
Lackawanna County
Pennsylvania, USA

The date is correct, but place of birth should read: Schilleningken, East Prussia (today near Gusev, Kaliningrad Oblast, Russia).

She immigrated in 1871 as a baby and spent early years in Scranton; the latter was given on her death cert in 1945 likely due to anti-German sentiment during WWII.

If you have space to add a note on this: her original maiden name was KATZWINKEL, which was changed to WINKEL by her family in 1875.

Thanks very much!

I sent a correction for DOB thru system and posted as Oct...I typed wrong info. George Gorrie Meek was born April 3 1847 . His half brother John Leonard, both died on same day. Do I send a correction or can you catch this ?

correction 46097747 edit
my deepest regard to incorrect info sent a few minutes ago. That's Leonard Meek, not John Meek and the screen keeps popping around due to these ads, difficult to type anything. I found the edit key and starting to send corrections, additions.. Lets hold off on a transfer, for now. Lets see where this goes.

Steve, please correct this obvious one: John Meek. Posted picture clearly states: Death occurred on Dec 13 1855 age 72 years. Please correct dob: to 1783 and DOD: Dec 13 1855. By the way he was born in England and middle name is not Meek, only his last name (listed as John Meek Meek. He is the Senior to a long line. Q: I have a slew of family that needs to be connected as John Meek is my 4X great grandfather. Do you want me to write a BIO or may I request a transfer? Would be my desire to see this all flow for future generations to access. Again...I don't clearly understand what form I need to fill out...or easiest way? thanks for patience: newdawngardens@verizon.net
