My main line interest at this point is the Hillman family of Charles Lewis Hillman 19145990, but that tends to lead me into lots of other family names.
While I live in Northern Virginia, most of my interests are in Louisiana and Mississippi thus far. Happy to help with anything in Northern Virginia and try to get to Louisiana and Mississippi a couple times a year to catalog and photograph additional cemeteries.

Hey William,
Yes, I felt it was a duplicate too. Having the same death date is a bit of a give away, but since Fred and Sanfred were listed as two separate persons buried side by side, I felt I should at least take the time to check. Stranger things have happened, after all.
I called someone in Simpson who knows this family. She confirmed this was one man, and that he had been in ill health for some time before passing. That ruled out some sort of an accident which could have involved two persons from the same family and cemented it for me.
I guess perhaps when Jane surveyed the cemetery, both marker and stone were there with the name variation, and it was entered accordingly. In any event, I went ahead and deleted Fred, and I again thank you for bringing this to my attention.
So are you back again for a visit, or have you been here a long time? I've had some pretty crazy things happening, so maybe it's just me and I am just thinking you were here only a few months back.

Hey William-
She thinks she may be the daughter of the Carl Rollins who was married to my aunt Ruth (her headstone is connected to his). My aunt is 86 but still alive so I am going to try to help her get enough info to validate it. Thanks for sending her to me. I hope I can help her.
