| Bio and Links | I've been working on my Family history since I was 11 years old. I started this because of a homework assignment and became hooked when Grandpa explained that he was Grandma's third husband. I had no idea!
I lost all my geneology computer files to a computer virus. While trying to recreate the computer files we had a flood and I lost all my notes and documents that I had collected for 30+ years. I now store my family history on Ancestry.com so that I won't have to worry about losing it again. Because of this, I try to add the gravesites for other (non-related) families whenever I happen across the information. Perhaps some of my notes will help someone else in their quest to find their roots.
I've used this site for a long time, gleaning little tidbits of information that I needed. Then it occurred to me that I may have information that someone else needs so I should give back. I signed up as a member and I've been adding my little tidbits as I find them. I hope it helps someone.
I am currently working on documenting the Stafford Memorial Gardens, but there are hundreds of unmarked graves in that cemetery. In addition to that problem are the markers that have become completely grown over with grass. I can be seen walking the cemetery with my camera and scissors in hand so I can cut away the grass to get a better picture. | |

 | Date on Find A Grave Hi Carol, I see you have added my grandparents in Brookside Cem in Shortsville, NY. My grandfather's Find A Grave # is: 102876445 and I assumed you used burial records and not a walk thru the cemetery, because you missed my uncle who is buried there in the plot. I added him tonight. Anyway, Walter Pulleyn died Dec 1 1966, not 1969. His stone says 1969 but was to expensive to change. Thanks for posting the records. I guess you have to make any changes to the memorial, I can't find a way to do that. Thanks again, Lanah De Witt | | | DLMc

 | Wayne David Harter Gravemarker Thank you Carol for putting up the pictures of Wayne's final resting place. Wayne was my husband Dave's nephew and he left the earth way to early in life. Thanks again.

 | STAFFORD MEMORIAL WISH I COULD BUT NUMBER ONE, I WOULD HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA HOW TO DO IT, AND I DON'T THINK THOSE LADIES WOULD BE FRIENDLY ENOUGH TO HAVE SOMEONE HANGING AROUND ALL DAY. AND NUMBER TWO REASON IS I'M IN THE MIDST OF TRACING BACK AND CLEANING UP ALL MY ANCESTRY TREES, NOT TO MENTION THE FACT THAT I NEED OXYGEN WHEN I GO OUT. ITS BEST FOR US THAT I PLAY BINGO.

 | CHARLES CHRISTMAS I KINA SEE WHAT YOU MEAN ALTHOUGH THIS IS A DIFFERENT NAME. THANKS FOR THE INFO.
BY THE WAY YOU SURE ARE RESTRICTING MY RANGE FOR PHOTOS. STAFFORD MEMORIAL IS MY FAVORITE PLACE AND THORUGHLY ENJOY THE TWO LADIES WHO MANAGE IT.
OH WELL I GUESS I'LL JUST HAVE TO FIND A DAYCARE CENTER WITH BINGO.
CATCH YOU LATER DON | | | DFmd

 | Anna F McFadden Smith Thanks Carol for the picture of her grave. The William J. Smith on the tombstone is one of her sons. Her birthday was 27 Dec 1875 which might account for the date of 1876 on the tombstone.
