Bio Photo I have been researching my family tree for 32 1/2 years and my wife's family for 16 years.

Just a small look at Heaven but does not show all the beautiful flowers and feel all the LOVE that is there.

John Rogan Folet

I am a great grandson of John Rogan Foley, who married Claire Zoolette Beckenbaugh. Please contact me at and we can share what we know. Please be sure to put the "g" between my first and last names on the email address. I look forward to hearing from you. And there looked to be another person who contacted you who mentioned John Rogan Foley's name. Thanks.

RE: Ida Wheeler

You're quite welcome; it's a pleasure to assist.

I had previously visited the north half of N-88 to look for photos for Walter Knell and his wife and parents-in-law (Roeder). Are these connected to the Wheelers? If not, then N-88 was probably divided in half and sold separately and I will upload a plot photo of just the south half for the Wheelers.

A Family Who Loves Genealogy
Cheery Hello Harvey!
It appears we are researching the very same family!

I did notice the two death notices in the New York Herald for John R Foley in October 1892. Have you contacted All Saints Roman Catholic Church in Manhattan to see where he was buried?

Many times, they can point us in the correct direction.

Do hope this finds you doing well!

Phyllis Rebenstorf (Deporter)
I have deleted my entry since it is a duplicate. The cemetery listing has her last name listed as Deporter.

Photo Request
Hello, I'm I Find a Grave volunteer who lives near Memorial Cemetery in Skokie. There is some confusion about taking photos at this cemetery, but I have taken a number in the last few years. What I can't do is look up the location for you. If you call the cemetery 847-864-5061 and then post the location in your request, I will attempt to fulfill it. Some folks have reported to me that the cemetery will not give out the location via phone. This is hard to understand if you are a family member. I would prefer to have the location posted rather than sent to me via email. Susanne D

RE: Oceana Herring

No worries...happens to the best of us. I was a bit confused at first because Loudon Park had not mentioned Oceana and Lewis by name as being buried at that plot. Then I realized that these were the children of John & Margaret that were moved from elsewhere in 1856.

If you haven't already, you might want to add something to that effect to the memorials for Oceana and Lewis, just for completeness, especially since Loudon Park didn't open until 1853 and it would have been impossible for them to have been buried there originally.
