I am an art historian living in Gettysburg and have always loved visiting cemeteries. My aunt gave me a book of our family's genealogy in 2007 and I've had so much fun gathering more information and researching the other side of my family. I'm excited to help out when I can by taking photos in Adams and Franklin Counties PA and Frederick, Carroll and Washington Counties MD. I have appreciated so much, those who have helped me out with information and photos. I am familiar with most of the communities inwhich I photograph having lived, worked or having relatives in these places so if you have general questions about the area, I'd be happy to help if you are planning to travel to or visit any of them. I would happily transfer your relatives to you if you'd like or I'd be happy to add more information for you.|

Thanks for the suggestions, which Iíll be glad to incorporate in the memorial if youíll provide reliable sources.

A friend told me about this change a couple days after this was deployed. I have sent an edit/s to you so I thought maybe you didn't know about it. You might want to pass it on to your friends. thanks!!! ~Peggy
New "Automated" system for "Suggest a Correction/Submit an Edit"
New System for Memorial Edits deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013
Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you.
Then just review and accept.
Way easier for doing updates to names/dates/places/plot numbers/links. If you don't approve within 21 days it will automatically accept it.
You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section.

|W. Warder||Photo request for James French Glenwood Cemetery DC|
I was unable to locate a headstone for James French.
I uploaded a photo of the lot. Which includes headstones for the surnames of Wheat and Town who are also interred there.
Sorry about that!
|W. Warder||Photo request for Rosa Garner - Glenwood Cemetery DC|
I looked today for the headstone for Rosa Garner in Section F, Range A, Site 600.
Unfortunately, I could not find a stone.
I could find stones for the surname Truett in site 591 and Jeter, site 604, but there was an empty space between the two which includes Rosa's site.
If you would like me to photograph the site with no headstone so that you can have a picture for the memorial I would be happy to do so, please just let me know. If not, please remove the request.
Sorry, again - always makes me feel rotten when I have to send a negative response to a photo request.
Be well and have a good evening.
That's what I thought, but wanted to make sure that she was at Gettysburg, before I gave the information to our family!

I'm confused about Eleanor's grave. I just noticed that she is listed at Gettysburg and Glendale Cemetery. I think she is at Gettysburg, but they list a Eleanor with the same birthday and death date at Glendale Cemetery. Can you clarify where your photo was taken????
