Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an art historian living in Gettysburg and have always loved visiting cemeteries. My aunt gave me a book of our family's genealogy in 2007 and I've had so much fun gathering more information and researching the other side of my family. I'm excited to help out when I can by taking photos in Adams and Franklin Counties PA and Frederick, Carroll and Washington Counties MD. I have appreciated so much, those who have helped me out with information and photos. I am familiar with most of the communities inwhich I photograph having lived, worked or having relatives in these places so if you have general questions about the area, I'd be happy to help if you are planning to travel to or visit any of them. I would happily transfer your relatives to you if you'd like or I'd be happy to add more information for you.

Bethel Cemetery off Good Intent
Can you help me out? We are trying to find out the name of the Church that once sat on this property where the cemetery is located. We are struggling with title issues to properties contiguous to the Cemetery and looking to see which church and who was the last pastor associated for it.

No, I'm not a relative and would be happy to transfer the memorial. Please go to the memorial and use the edit button to give me your Find A Grave #. Barb

Baker Info
Hi Amy,
I see that I should have posted this to the person who put up the memorial. Sorry...I will contact her and ask her to make the corrections. I will keep you informed so that you can remove the photo that doesn't belong. She may just change the dates and leave the memorial for Lena R., since there is already one for Lena M.

Find A Grave Memorial# 6907134
You have the wrong information up for Lena R Baker. The first stone is correct for Lena R Baker, wife of W Frank Baker, but the dates are for Lena M Barber Baker, wife of William Baker, as in the 2nd photo.

Lena R was married to W Frank Baker. She was born 1874 and died 1971. Her husband, W Frank Baker, was born 1855 and died 1984.

The memorial dates are for the OTHER Lena Baker.

Lena (Barber) Baker, 6 Jun 1840-6 Aug 1924. Her death certificate gives her name as Mary M. Baker (Mary Magdalena). She was the d/o Joseph Barber and Barbara Shultz, and the wife of William Baker, 10 Dec 1837-24 Mar 1905.

Hope I didn't confuse you too much.

David Sowers in Haughs Cemetery, Ladiesburg, MD
Hi Amy,
You mentioned you knew this area and I have not been able to find any info from the Frederick Historic
Society for dates on David Sowers (#84600070). If
you could obtain the birth and death dates for this
stone, it would be very helpful. A photo isn't necessary since it may be difficult to photograph.
Dates would be great. Thank you. Carol

RE: Doris Saunders
Sorry I created the page because I couldnt find her because of misspelling. Then added pic when i found ur profile. I dont care about getting credit for it. I just wanted to add her and eventually add obituary and bio. and picture of her. She was my paternal aunt. I plan to go to cemetery soon and take another pic since grass is covering her name. My father, her brother has cleaned the foot stones so the whole name shows. I am new to this, don't want to offend anyone. But she was/is special to me, but I am only focusing on my direct family. I would like to thank you for the work you do for this site.
