I have been interested in genealogy all my life, and have dedicated the past 15 years to research.|
If you have any additions or corrections for my memorials, please let me know. I would like my information to be as accurate, as possible.
If you would like to use my photos, feel free, but please drop me a note.
I am not here to manage the highest number of memorials, or to prove how much work I have done. I am here to work with a team, to reach a common goal. That goal is to research our heritage, and share it with everyone who is interested.
Thank you fellow genealogists!

Yes, I am related. Starting with my great-great grandfather, Hiram Stockton, his father was Daniel Stockton, whose father was John Stockton, whose father was Thomas Stockton, Sr., whose father was Davis Stockton. Jerry Stockton told me I may have skipped a generation, but I don't think so.

that number actually goes to William Scott Zimmerman his father, but it got me to where i needed to be, lol. Yes, i am related, by marriage. Pap was married to my grandfathers mom, Myrtle Jean Bitner. He was her 2nd husband as her first husband, Charles Carl Caldwell, died in 1926 after getting pneumonia after a nurse gave him a sponge bath in the hospital then left a window open. I dont remember Pap much because i was around 10 when he died, i do remember going to the funeral though. Pap raised my grandfather & from what i was told he was the sweetest person. My mom speaks very fondly of him. So i guess, technically, he is my step? great grandfather. Pap & Myrtle never had children together. im sure i sent an edit to link the 2 but i see it isnt there but i re sent it. Myrtle is #47837461 incase you wanted to view her memorial & children including my grandfather.

can you give me the memorial number? i dont know offhand this person. i am related to Zimmerman's through my mom's father's family but there is a chance this might just be someone that i just transcribed the cemetery. cheryl

You are welcome, Obits were added by someone else. The sun was in my eyes yesterday and the picture wasn't very clear, I am going back out there in the next few days and I will try to snap a better one and replace it.

You are quite welcome for the information. No, I'm not related, just trying to share info from numerous obituary clippings I have gathered over the years while doing genealogy.

Another member has claimed, using your grandfather's will, that Nancy Barrett, 18066309, 1760-1837, was not your grandfather's daughter.
This is her message to me:
Jeri Taylor, 47430507, writes:
My information is that William Barrett's will (proved 5 Oct 1791) mentions three daughters (no male issue). Those daughters were Rachel - wife of Mordici Walker, Mary - wife of Reuban Case, and Lydia - wife of Henry Lewis. No daughter named Nancy is mentioned in the will. Since she did not die until 1837, she WOULD have been in the will. Therefore, I believe the link between William Barrett (b. 1712) and Nancy Barton is not valid.
Can you shed any light on this questionable relationship? Any info would be most helpful. Thanks.
