Thank you ladies and especially to someone I know personally, Lolita Leslie.
If anyone would like to have one of my memorials transferred, I would ask for you to be a relative or a close friend of the family. I am not someone hung up on numbers.

I wanted to thank you for the obit you added to my cousin's memorial. She is Mary Elizabeth "Mollie" Bishop Baird. I'm happy to have the obit for my family records. Thanks for contributing.

The only other info they have on Dora is she only lived a few hours. We only have one funeral home her and I will check to see if they have any info on her.
Have you checked on FamilySearch.org for a death cert.?
Thank you for letting me help.

Thanks for your help Tim! I have the photo of the tombstone on there now.
|Diane Smith Battershell||Clarance Waggoner, Lyons, KS|
I was wondering if you would be interested in removing the printed obit for Clarance from his memorial page at the Lyons Cemetery? I have typed it out and included it on the page and given you credit for it, but I need a apace on the memorial site to add a photo of his tombstone and there is presently no space as the limit for photos has been reached. If you wouldn't mind deleting the printed obit I will include the tombstone photo.
Thanks so much for your consideration.

sorry Tim, I don't know who her parents were. You might try the Lyons Public Library where they have newspaper microfilm on hand and would probably have an obit about her death and it will name her parents. I think the library staff will look up newspaper obits for a small fee. If you should find out, let me know and I will link Hazel to her parents. Thanks! Diane

You're welcome, Tim. I enjoy doing it!

You are most welcome! The 'Infant's'; someone has them entered under the brother of Christian (Gotlieb David). From what is on the stone, they have to be Christian's children (Infant's Of C.G. Koerner). I created a new memorial and transferred it to you and sent a correction to the other contributor.
|James Snow||RE: Grandmother Renollet|
I note the 1850 U.S. Census, Henry Co. Ohio:
Paul 'Renolet'. age 47, born Germany
Mary, age 45, born Germany
Louis, age 19, born Germany
Paul, age 17, born Germany
Catharine, age 11, born Ohio
Mary, age 7. born Ohio
Sophia, age 5, born Ohio
Daniel, age 2, born Ohio
The Sophia, born 1837, who is apparently not in this record, would have been aged 13. I note that it is not unknown for parents to name a child after another who had died as an infant (I have numerous examples in my own genealogy).
I have the book for the cemetery, which is based on both sexton's records and canvasses of the cemetery which date from the early 1960s. I also have photographs of the Koerner monument. I can't find a county death record for Sophia, but her husband, Christian Gotlob Koerner, has an Ohio death record that I have access to. Christian and Sophia were married in Defiance Co. Ohio on Dec. 19, 1866 and are last seen together in the 1870 census, Farmer twp., Defiance Co. Ohio.
