|Pat Berel||RE: John Oxley|
Bob, Thanks for the transfer but didn't realize you were also related to him. I have been working on getting the families linked together. Please look at your family line and see if they are linked and all are added. Who were your Oxley grandparents?

Thanks for approving the edits, Bob!

I am happy to see that you photographed several Alford gravestones in Pilgrim Rest Cemetery, Sabine Parish.
I would like to add these gravestone photos to the (non-profit) Alford American Family Association's collection of Louisiana Obituaries, where their obituaries are (or will be) included. You can see the current collection at http://www.alfordassociation.org/obit.html.
May I have your permission to include your gravestone photos? If so, I will add this to the photo captions:

Permission granted by the photographer, Bob Taylor
And thanks so much for your gravestone photo work!

|Debby Johnson||Old Shady Grove Cemetery in Winn Parish|
Hi Bob! Thanks for all the work you do for Find A Grave! I was recently researching Shadrack Johnson and found you took several photos of the cemetery that he is buried in. Shadrack is my husband's great-grandfather and we have tried to find the cemetery, but with no success. I am aware that it is now on private land and has been fenced around. Do you know who I may contact to try to get into this cemetery? I noticed that you did not post any photos of Johnson headstones. At one time there was a C.S.A. headstone for Shadrack and an in-the-ground stone for his wife Tamsary Anna Johnson. The other Johnson buried in Old Shady Grove (Coleman, Zattie & Margaret) are unmarked I believe. I would appreciate any help you could give me on the family. You may contact me at email@example.com. Thank you!

That's okay, you're doing a great job, but thanks for offering. I'm continuing to research my ancestors and if I find anything more for him I will let you know.

Mr. Taylor can you tell me if you used something special to bring the text out on the markers of the Hogg's in Winn Parrish? Or is it just a photo program. Feel free to email me with info. Thanks for posting the pictures. Laura

Please transfer management of Viette Truett Taylor to me. Thanks

|Nikki Brown||RE: JJ Vines and Jessie Vines|
I will check into this. JJ Vines was my mother's first cousin. Jessie was her uncle that died as a baby. JJ's name was Jessie Jackson Vines, but there are at least two Jessie Vines buried in that cemetery.
