If anyone wants to take over the management of their family's memorial from me, just ask; don't be shy. As long as you're related to the deceased, that's good enough for me. Please remember to include your Find A Grave ID number when requesting the transfer.
Please do not post complete obituaries on my memorials (too many problems with people's privacy and copyright infringement). Paraphrasing the main points from an obituary is great, and I'm happy to add that if you forward it to me using the Edit tab.
From the Amador Ledger (Calif.), November 2, 1900:
THE TRANSLATION. On the gate of the cemetery in Rio de Janeiro is a notice in Spanish, French, and English that no dogs are admitted unless led by the owner. This is how the announcement is made in English: "Noble mesdames and gentlemen who may desire a dog to follow in this tombsyard will be permission unless him drawn by a cable round him throttle."

I've made several recommendations for edits. She's not a close relative (wife of husband of wife of great grand uncle).

Maybe you should keep both memorials and note that because both names are used in the cemetery records there are two memorials. Someone may add another memorial if one of the memorials are deleted and not know the connection. I would also link Rose Losee to her husbands Belden and Warren. I believe that Rose DeEtte's 3rd husband is Talmadge Losee but I don't have a marriage record.
I was researching my cousin Rose DeEtte Warren, nee Barber, and I came upon her memorial, 78233293, and I want to thank you for adding it. You noted that you couldn't find the CDI for her. I found one for a Rose D. Losee who died in 1938 and is buried at the same cemetery, 133724088, this memorial you have also added. I looked at both of the memorials and discovered that they are both buried in the same section and lot. I do believe that Rose and DeEtte are one and the same. I have yet to find a marriage record for her and Losee.
Thank you very much,
I'm digging up '2' more kid's belonging to Edwin Haskins and will send the info. shortly, but I have a question. You mentioned a "Joseph", as one of Edwin's children, who is Joseph? I can't find him anywhere, US Census and all....sorry.
Be back shortly, 'with the rest of the story'...lol

I'm a researcher, for my late father's side, of the family name (Toothman, marrying into the Haskins family.
Edwin's father is: Rev. America Admiral Haskins, and you'll find him @ #18548930, and Edwin's mother is: Mary Anna D. LEONARD - Haskins @ #18549065. I was surprised to have his Find A Grave Memorial come up, a very big surprise indeed!

Kathie, could you transfer this memorial to me? I already started a new one before I realized you had done one.
Doc and his wife were my father and mother-in-law, and I am setting up another for my late husband Arthur E. Hirschler III. Thanks!
