People have been submitted by spreadsheets over the years. Attempts have been made to eliminate living people and duplicates. If you believe a living person is included, you should submit proof to me via findagrave correction. Just because there is no date on a headstone does not mean someone is alive.|
Google and other searches does not prove someone is alive, I can google many people in my tree that google would show to be well over 100 years old that I know in fact are dead.
Do not ask me for transfer if you are not related it will not happen!!!
You must love it when another volunteer on this site tries to get you in trouble for things when they violate FAGR rules everyday

I just wanted to say thanks for all you do to help keep all the people straight in Wayne Co NY. I'm the one who put the new headstone on Gideon Durfee's grave. I see all kinds of pictures you have taken of other family members. Just thanks for volunteering your time.
|Connie Dunham Lloyd||Cornelius Dunham|
Hi Daryl, I went on Dunham road today to locate Dunham Cemetery. I could not find the one you have a picture of for Cornelius Dunham. I stopped at a persons home to ask where it was and he told me the only cemetery on Dunham Road was at the four corners of Dunham Road and Whiskey Hill road. There was a couple Dunham headstones there but not Cornelius. Plus this cemetery was not in a field. I looked all over Dunham Road and did not see a cemetery that looks like the one you posted. Help please. I live 2 hours away from Waterloo but would LOVE to actually find the right cemetery. Thank you for your help... Connie Dunham Lloyd. Cornelius is my 3rd great grand uncle.
Daryl, I am helping a friend in Chagrin Falls, OH prove his line back to Joshua Stafford thru his son David Stafford (1787-1837) & David's daughter Laura Stafford m. William Plummer Patch.
Do you have any proof acceptable to DAR/SAR to link David to his father Joshua Stafford? My DAR Member site does not list David among Joshua/Susannah's children [DAR does list sons William, John, and Abraham.
Thank you for your help.

|Ramm||Herbert J. Engelhardt & Evelyn Talty|
I would only be related to you if Herbert J. Engelhardt and Evelyn Talty had any children as I am a descendant of Herbert J. Engelhardt. I have no knowledge of the marriage between Herbert & Evelyn. Do you know if there was a child from Herbert & Evelyn? Do you know what happened to Evelyn? I'm assuming their marriage was only about one year because Herbert married Helen Karl April 1919 and Helen was already pregnant with my father when they married. Either Evelyn died, they got divorced or Herbert led a second life which wouldn't surprise me. The marriage record shows they were married in Rochester and he lived in Schenectody, NY. I have no knowledge of him having any connection in any place other then Buffalo. The 1917 Buffalo City directory lists Herbert J. living at 71 Schreck Ave. as a trimmer (*occupation of Herbert on his & Evelyn's marriage record states trimmer). No listing for Herbert J. in 1918. His Army papers states him inducted Apr 4, 1918, discharged Jan. 25, 1919 which would explain why he wasn't listed in Buffalo directory for 1918. 1919 Buffalo directory listing has him living back on 71 Schreck Ave., occupation electrician. I'm excited to have more info but REALLY confused. Please let me know if you know anything more about Evelyn during that time. Thank you.

RE: Marriage record of Herbert Engelhardt. I don't know how or why you found the marriage record but I can't thank you enough. Herbert Engelhardt is my grandfather. I was told only one time that he was married to a red headed girl named Evelyn. Nobody else knew anything about it (or just wouldn't tell me). I looked a few times but without success. I guessed the year correctly because he married my grandmother in 1919. I eventually gave up looking thinking Evelyn may have been a girlfriend. Thank you again.

Nice to hear from you I did the update right after I signed up about four days ago. I noticed and read in the help it takes a few days but that's all it really says about that. I plan to add more to Barb's site as pictures and info. filter in. I just checked and it hasn't updated any facts as of yet.
Let me know if I'm doing/not doing something right websites are not my strong point.
|Erin Williamson Klein||Memorial# 41439486 at Mt Hope|
I believe this memorial for 1e Williamson is my 2nd great grandmother Jane Cormode Williamson. According to the Mt Hope interment book, she was buried on 31 December 1878 in 532 O. Do you have any other information that might confirm this for me?
