My husband and I have been married for 50 years. We were born in California, but now live in Kansas. I have been researching my ancestors for 7 years. We love to visit the cemeteries where our ancestors are buried. Sharing our pictures with others gives us great pleasure. Please feel free to use any of them that you want.

I have checked all of the burial listings in the Selma Cemetery District and can't find anyone that vaguely resembles the person you are looking for. Sorry...

RE: Kerr Cemetery
BTW, if you have a way of getting the correct GPS coordinates, there is a way of getting Find A Grave to change them. I can help you with that if you'd like. Thanks!

RE: Kerr Cemetery
Good news Sandi. I found my directions to the cemetery and followed them on google maps and they seem to be pretty accurate. You can actually see the cemetery on google maps so it would be worth looking at before you head out. It's really pretty easy to find.
Start in Republic Mo.
From HWY 174 and Hwy 160 (maybe 60) go west on 174 about 6.7 miles to FR 31. Turn south on FR 31 for .7 miles, then west on FR 188 for 1.25 miles, then south on FR 15 for .5 miles. Cemetery is on the west side of the road, set back a ways.
When we were there a few years ago, the farm roads were marked and I think the cemetery is actually on Kerr Road. At least I saw a sign somewhere near there for Kerr Road.
My ancestor is Alexander Kerr 1813-1855. Maybe your husband and I are distant cousins. Hope you find it okay and can get a picture. There were several really old illegible markers. Good luck!

RE: Kerr Cemetery
I will look through my files tonight after work to see if I can find my directions. It took quite a while to find it so I tried to make good notes. Will let you know.
