Transfer made. Thanks

Thanks, Chris. Next time you're at the cemetery could you tell me who all four of the graves are in the plot?
I know that Jeremiah and his two wives are there, but I was curious about the forth person in the burial plot.
I will make a notation about "Fannie" ... I appreciate your detailed work... always a help!

Chris, I appreciate you going and taking the picture I requested. I understand that church is really in a secluded area, so your time and work does not go unnoticed.
|DonnaH||Early American War Veterans Cemetery|
My husband and I rode down to the Early American War Veterans (Cemetery or Memorial) on Highway 3 south of Barnwell SC this afternoon. We've driven past it many times on our way to I-95 and stopped once many years ago. We wanted to take another look at it so off we went. Before we left the house we looked everywhere we could think of to find out something about this little cemetery and found a website that describes the historical markers at http://www.hmdb.org/Marker.asp?Marker=8749. I thought you might want to add the link so folks could see the marker and maybe make some connections. Do you know where these people might be buried since this doesn't appear to be the actual burial site?
Thanks for posting all of these men.

Thank you for the photos of his headstone. Much appreciated.
|Brittany Marschalk||RE: George "All" Sizemore|
I get a lot of questions and comments about George "All" Sizemore, my sixth great-grandfather. I'm really no expert... All I know is what I can find on Ancestry.com and the various legends anyone can find online. Unfortunately, I don't live anywhere near Eastern Kentucky right now, so I can't do primary research very easily.
One thing I can be sure of: there are NO PHOTOS of George -- or Aggie -- since they died before photography was invented. No portraits have surfaced, either, and I very much doubt any ever existed. The closest thing I've seen to an image of George is an old, unclear photo of a granddaughter (I think) who was said to resemble him.
You can still ask me questions, of course, and I can try to find the answers, but again, other resources may be far more productive for you.
(This may show up as a reply to Chris Atkins -- sorry about that. It's the only way I can seem to leave a message here for everyone.)

Thank you very much!
I don't have any copies left of my first book, but I still have some of the second volume. If you'll send me your mailing address I'll gladly send one to you. I don't sell them - just give them away.
My e-mail address is email@example.com.

I live in Erie, PA and am working on a third volume of grave locations for veterans of the War of 1812. I would like your permission to use the pictures you posted from this cemetery in this compilation. I will cite you as the source.
|DAVID WILLIS||RE: Miles Brant|
Thanks for doing that. My Mom wanted me to put that there, but I explained to her I was not sure if I could do it or not. I am glad that you were able to put it on there for us. I will let me my Mom know it is out there now. Hope you have a blessed day.
