I've been an animal rescuer for most of my life. I joined Find a Grave to leave flowers for famous people, when I read about Harry Chapin's memorial being posted here. Just months later my husband died suddenly. I have found comfort at Find a Grave and met several very nice people through this wonderful site. When my mother died recently, one of the first things I did was post her memorial.|
My family surnames include: Alspaugh, Alspach, Alspachpaugh (the original), Stuckey, Wieser (also spelled Riser), Healy, Steele, and Morrell and perhaps Ellis.
Revelations 21:4 - And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

Wishing you a very blessed day!
Hi Carol, your memorial for Bill touched me so much I just wanted to let you know. I too have a good, kind husband that I sometimes take for granted. We are very lucky that although he is in poor health (he needs a kidney transplant) he has stopped his smoking and is keeping his medical appointments. I would say that I wish your Bill had done this for you, but I truly believe that everything happens for a reason, so I will only wish you peace and happiness going forward.

Your father, Ray, is my 6th cousin. I loved reading all your lovely memorials for your family members. I hope to do the same with my family some day.
