Daniel Jacobs
Hi Mike,

Daniel Jacobs memorial #147018301 is my 4th great grandfather. I see he is buried at Shank Cemetery. I'm from Franklin County and don't have any idea where it's located. I want to take a photo of his gravestone. Would you get me directions?

RE: Dr. Baruch Blumberg
I remember submitting him as "unknown", so I have no idea who gave Find a Grave that info. He was a veteran, so maybe he's in one of the military cemeteries around there dating from the Civil War. I will check the veterans' data base.

Blessings,

Bob

Thanks for your quick edits

I may have made a mistake, 10399652 may be the son, whereas I gave you the dates for the father. I'll send an update after I cipher it over.

This memorial has been duplicated. The "captcha" function was not loading and my SAC would not load so I was unable to make the correction.
Thought you might like to know in case you wish
to send a SAC.

Your help and contributions are appreciated.

Socks/Sachs family of PA and Baltimore
Hello and thank you for all of your additions to Find A Grave! Do you happen to know anyone researching the Socks/Sachs families of Adams and Franklin County? I believe they came to the United States through Baltimore and some of them remained there while others went north.

George Harbaugh (1747- )
Mike,
Since George Harbaugh (1747 -) had not been added (to findagrave), I added a memorial and the information I just sent to you. I do not have his date of death or where he was buried. Connected him to his wife Elizabeth. Happy to transfer to you if you want to maintain the memorial and perhaps do further research.

George Harbaugh (1747- ? )
The eldest son of George Harbaugh, he was also known as John George Harbaugh (born 8/11/1747-date unknown of death). He married Elizabeth Binchele (or Binkele). her dates: 12/19/1749-1/23/1780.

Information from "Harbaugh History" (Page 148)as follows:

*All these data from the Graceham Church records in the York Hist. Society from which we quote the following verbatim -

John George, eldest son of George and Catherine (Williar) Harbaugh married first Nov. 27, 1770, Elizabeth Benkele. He body was brought through the deep snow on a sled to the church for burial.

----------
There were 5 children listed born to this couple (George Jr. 1771- ); Jacob (1773-1850); Elizabeth 1775-1855; John (1778-1854); and Infant daughter (1/10/1780-1/10/1780). Elizabeth buried her infant daughter in the garden the same day herself. Elizabeth died 13 days after her infant daughter.

Additional note about George Harbaugh (1747- ) ----"He lived for some time on the old homestead. Afterwards he removed to Bedford Co., PA and on one occasion, coming to the Valley on a visit, he took sick and died on his way home."

He had a second wife Marie Barbara by whom he had five children. If you want these names, let me know.

George Harbaugh (1726-1787)
Mike,
My only reference is the "Harbaugh History" - Page 148 only references his wife Catharina Williard (Bender) whom he married in 1746 at which time he was 20 years old.
