Bio and Links
Bio Photo I live in Los Angeles, CA. I became obsessed with family research after taking genealogy classes in 2006.

I will transfer NON-family memorials according to Find-A-Grave rules but you must use the Suggest a Correction and include your Find-A-Grave ID.

I will be more than happy to update memorials. I am not always able to make updates daily but I do get to them, usually within a few days unless I am out of town.

You may copy my photos. All I ask is that you give me credit for them. EX: Photo courtesy of Jane Morrison

~A Poem for our Ancestors~
Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

It made me think because I was viewing on my IPad. So I went to my desktop to look and it was fine. So it must be a limited size screen for the IPad. Interesting huh? P.S. Would you do a brief bio for him?

RE: John Vincent McNeil
Glad it was helpful! I hadn't seen your message about Lawrence until I went back to see if I could find him and saw that you had added him. Now the family is together! Never understand why that feels so good to be able to find them all and link them, it just feels like its important somehow.

Thanks again for all you do, if it hadn't been for finding his first name on the memorial it would have taken me a lot longer to find him. I also tracked him and Lawrence down by the old phone books on line (huge resource in my research), helped me to figure out when the son took over the family business, which was upon his father's death.

Have a wonderful day and keep up the great work!

ID Military in Westlawn-Hillcrest
We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge #326.

If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.

Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.

If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.
