I live in Los Angeles, CA.|
I will transfer NON-family memorials according to Find-A-Grave rules.
I will be more than happy to update memorials. I am not always able to make updates daily but I do get to them, usually within a few days unless I am out of town.
You may copy my photos. All I ask is that you give me credit for them. EX: Photo courtesy of Jane Morrison
~A Poem for our Ancestors~
Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

If your husband is family and want ownership to manage the site, I can transfer.
|Betsy Caposell||The McLeans|
Greetings. You sent me several emails regarding various McLeans. As it turned out, I already had the obituaries, so it was easy for me to add them to J. Ross McLean & Elizabeth (Keck) McLean. Tell me, are you descended from McLeans? James Ross McLean was my 3rd great uncle.

You are welcome, I am very happy to help. I hope it is ok that I added the same photo for Dora. I figured since she didn't have a photo, I should add it for her also, even though she didn't have a request. :)
|Ethel Cunningham||RE: Henry and Emma Schmid|
Thank you.... glad to be of service!
|John Bracchi||Sponsor for Joseph|
I'm not sure what a sponsor is and what it is for, but I imagine thanks are in order. I am about to send an email to your personal email, so you might want to check your junk mail folder in case it gets filtered.
|Sabrina D||Ellen Hill at Holy Cross|
Ellen Hill was originally interred at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in San Francisco. The cemetery was closed and the remains were moved to Holy Cross Cemetery in Colma, CA. The remains were buried in one section, and while there are no individual grave markers. There is a memorial is dedicated to them all. I attached the photo of the location. And the caption for the photo has the inscription on the memorial.
Ellen was originally in a plot with two of her children, Joseph H Hill (died April 25, 1866 – 4 yrs, 4 mos, 13 days), Thomas Francis Hill (Nov 19, 1867 – 1 yr, 1 mos, 13 days).

Are these relatives of yours? You provided great information.
Mary was my great-great-grandmother's sister. I've just been working on getting all the family linked up. Mary was the hardest, and last, of the 9 siblings to find as the surname has been spelled Wyar, Wyer, Wier, Weir and Wear. Your memorials were the breakthrough. Thanks.

|sardakco||Mary J. Weir|
I just left some updates for Mary J. Weir and her husband Laurence. Mary was disinterred from St. Mary cemetery in Omaha, Nebraska and buried in LA. She has a memorial in Omaha # 126453395 . I've left an update and message there, too. Find-A-Grave says the original memorial should be marked as a cenotaph. I'll work with the other poster, Michelle on that.

I have a photo of Edith Adkins' marker (reverse side of Joseph). Please enter a normal request and I will post the photo promptly.
|dantcarrier||Elizabeth SULLIVAN Collette Miller|
Jane, Thanks for the update on Elizabeth SULLIVAN Collette Miller. I have made the suggested changes. Are you related to this family? Felix G. MILLER, IV is the grandfather of the person I'm helping to do this research. Dan Carrier, Dallas, TX
