I kept putting this short bio off, but after doing photo requests for people and "meeting them" through their bios, I decided it was time. I am a retired school teacher who loves doing genealogy work and exploring cemeteries. I love the concept of Find A Grave where people in different areas are so willing to help each other with photos. When my husband and I are fulfilling photo requests, we sometimes add more stones to a cemetery. I am always willing to "give these up" to family members who can add more information. Just ask. | |

Hi Barbara,
Thank-you for getting and adding the photos of William Serl's headstone. Maybe someday I will be able to tour the cemetery myself but for now these pictures are beyond great. Thanks for also transcribing your interpretation of the engraving since it is difficult to read. I think that instead of 33 (which is definitely what it seems to say) or 65 as you noted, I think it actually says 66 years...
