*** About ME ***
I still consider myself a Rhode Islander - where I grew up, lived, worked, and played for more than a half century. But since July 2012 have called Gray, Maine "home".

I'm a dues-paying member of the Maine Old Cemetery Association [MOCA; moca-me.org] and serve as an officer on the Board of Directors as well as in several other roles. My own genealogy work began when my Dad died just two months before seeing the new millennium and hasn't stopped since. I continue to be engrossed in the study of family history and find cemeteries simply fascinating! Helping others realize their family history goals is just plain FUN, so I sometimes conduct LIMITED research projects [just for fun!] on a volunteer basis.

*** About Sharing ***
My gravestone photos are for sharing! Please use them freely for your personal family research projects. Adding a photo credit "Photo by Find A Grave volunteer Debi C." when posting them on other sites is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED, as it furthers the effort towards the volunteerism which makes this awesome resource possible.

*** About Transfers ***
I generally follow the FG "four-generation DIRECT line" guideline for transferring memorials. So, if you'd like me to transfer to you, please share your line of descent when submitting your request. If you are NOT a direct descendant... well... let's chat and figure things out. I am always happy to update memorials under my care when I can verify the new information, but I'm not inclined to transfer out of guidelines to "collectors".

*** About Corrections ***
Since others will rely on our work for their own research, I prefer to verify data - especially dates and family links - before making edits. So, if you can provide source references via the "suggest other edits" button, feel free to do so. I will certainly research for the sources myself, but if you already have the info, it just facilitates the process. Thanks!

*** About Cooperative Effort ***
If you send me an update, correction, or note via the "Other Suggestions" button, but do not have your own account set to allow messages, please include your email address within the body of your submission. Otherwise, if I can't verify your suggestion, it will be deleted.
