Please do not ask me to copy obituary notice to the record unless you are the author, since this would be in violation of one of the FAG policies. The dates of birth and death did they come from tombstone? I have different dates from American Genealogical Biographical Index.

Thank you so much Marie, for the transfer of my GGF which is greatly appreciated.

In that the Griswold Family Association, in a publication in 1990 and another in 1999, has explicitly rejected the claim that Ann (Mrs. Michael1) Griswold's maiden name was Adams, you might want to delete the latter name from your listing for her, which now reads "Ann Adams Griswold."
You attribute to Ann a birth date of 11 November 1624 and a date of death of 12 July 1682, both occurring at Hartford. As another contributor has indicated, Hartford wasn't settled until 1635; I would add that it's virtually certain that both she and Michael died in Wethersfield, where they lived and are buried.
Perhaps more concerning, however, are the dates themselves. You cite as your source for them The Griswold Family, England-America: Edward of Windsor, Connecticut, Matthew of Lyme, Connecticut, Michael of Wethersfield, Connecticut / compiled by Glenn E. Griswold. v.2. Yet neither volume 2 nor volume 3 of that series identifies Ann other than by forename; neither volume presents a date of birth or death for her; and no records of which I'm aware confirm them.
What, please, is/are your source(s) for the birth and death dates you present for Ann (______) Griswold?
Marie, Thank you so much for transferring these to me. Mary Chapman Griswold was my great grandfather's sister. I'm glad to have these three back tied to the family. Bobbi

Thank you Marie. I appreciate the work that you do for this website.
|A Family Who Loves Genealogy||Thanks a bunch!|
My cousin whose mother headed up all of the Requa pamphlets and newsletters has been in a nursing home for the past eight years. I decided that someone should take up the work and start linking the family together with historical information.
I talked to my cousin the other day and feel badly that no one has taken up the work that her mother did so diligently!
I had asked her for the mailing list. Since it was so many years ago, she was sure that it was thrown out when the house was cleaned to sell.
I am hoping there is a way to start it again. It was a high success for years.
Because of your hard work and diligence the Requas' will be linked together in all of the cemeteries. Thanks once again!
I bow in appreciation! This work is not easy to do for all of you out in the field!
I, for one, want to thank you from the bottom of my heart!
|A Family Who Loves Genealogy||Cheery Hello!|
Thanks ever so much for your note.
Nathaniel's father is Samuel Requa who is a great grandfather to me. Samuel's son James H Requa is brother to Nathaniel and is my third great grandfather. My grandmother was Marguerite Blanche Requa, daughter of John Edgar who went by Edgar Requa with his father being Glode Requa who died in 1904. When I clicked on my family tree, Nathaniel was listed as a Great Grand Uncle.
I wanted to work the Requa family and link all of them together utilizing and adding information from the Regua Family Book.
Ann Requa who used to be our main contact sending out Regua newsletters for most of my life can no longer do that. There were three main branches coming down from the original settlers. There used to be family reunions of this family for years before Ann was no longer able to that.
Thanks again. As I go through the family linking the family all together, I found it easier to have transfers made so that I could put the memorial with bios in similar formats.
Here is the link to my grandmother and you can see the work I am doing to add bios for each of our Requa family. Thanks again.
