I am generally not related to the people honored in the memorials I create. I focus mostly on photographic preservation of local history and sadly have no genealogical connections where I live. I am happy to transfer records to your safe keeping upon request.

I grant permission to use my photos for personal, non-commercial use. If you'd like to use them in a project, please contact me. It is not my intention to have these volunteered hours end up contributing to a service that will then charge for access to the information.

RE: Oh my gosh, never mind!
Erin

The Calhoun's were one of the founding families of what was originally called Judea, now known as Washington, the name was changed in 1779 to what it is known as today. They owned a large tract of land. As for Burr and Able yes they remained on the original farmstead that their father had.

As for taking over the Calhoun sites well I am not sure just how much time I can spend as I am a farmer myself and at times am very busy. I thank you for the offer though.

RE: Oh my gosh, never mind!
I am a descendant of the Calhoun's of Washington, Connecticut. I will look at my notes and see where I got Able's photo from. I will go through the Calhoun's buried in Washington and see if I can correct any others. I do have in my possession a copy of the Calhoun's of Washington, Connecticut that was put together in 1938, I believe, by Mildred Brannon Calhoun so much of the data in it is correct. I am in contact with several others of the Calhoun line as well and will correspond with them as to other corrections as well.

Memorial #8018551
Erin,

Thank you for the photo on memorial #8018551, Betsy Searles Knapp. I would like o use the photo for my Searles Family Genealogy. I intend no commercial use of the photo. I do intend to donate a copy of the genealogy to the Herrick Library in Wellington, Ohio, where my branch of the family lived. Unless I hear differently, I will use the attribution, "Photo courtesy of Erin Nikitchyuk".

Thanks,

Hi Erin! Thank you for your edits for Anna Tilson (128968747) and Elizabeth Tilson (128968567) in the Dorchester North Burying Ground. May I ask you your source of the dates and locations you sent so that I can document my notes? Thank you!

Thank you for finding my uncle and aunt's grave. I have submitted links for his parents. There were three sons in the family, Frank, Leslie Jr. and William (my father). Each joined a different branch of the U.S. service and fought in WWII.
