John Gleason - Find a grave
Hi! Thanks for the information you added for John Gleason. I am hoping he is one of my ancestors who has been very elusive. I assume if you had noticed any additional information about John you would have mentioned it in the memorial but I thought I would ask as I am desperate! I am looking for his father Martin Gleason but unfortunately he doesn't seem to be included here.

RE: 14346382 John Whalen
Thanks for your reply. John Whalen is a pretty common Irish name,
hoped it would have been part of my family.
Thank you,

RE: Mary Marshall
Hi Marie, is it possible for you to send me the memorial # for this? I have not yet gotten an alert from Find A Grave that it's been completed, and I cannot figure out who she is or what cemetery. I'm goin' nuts here. Thanks, Janice

Hi Marie,

I found out what the error was. John Church Hamilton- Alexander's son is buried in Greenwood Cemetery and John Church Hamilton- Alexander Hamilton Jr. son is buried in Sleepy Hollow Cemetery. Thanks, bob

RE: Mary Marshall
Thank you for your note. Unfortunately, I have not gotten the auto notification from Find A Grave regarding the fulfillment and I cannot remember who Mary Marshall is, so I don't have her memorial number. If you still have it, or the cemetery name, that would help me look her up and I'm sure I will recall once I see it. Thanks so much. Janice

RE: Abigail Wood
Thanks for letting me know. It looks like I forgot to pass you the information for her husband, William Wood, 16249440. Because of that I just sent the request thru the edit link. Information show that he died at age 44. As he died on 21 Jan 1858, that means his birth occurred sometime after 21 Jan 1813 and before 20 Jan 1814. So it probably occurred sometime in 1813. I think you should have the information to link their baby daughter as well. Abigail is a distant cousin to me. Thanks for all of your time and work.

RE: Mable Griswold
Hi Marie,

First, thank you for the multiple automatic SAGs from me that you handled late into the wee hours of this morning.

Second, I'd leave "Mable" alone. Mabel, my dear 99-year old maternal grandmother, died a few years ago. Mehetabel is a biblical name that has over time been normalized to Mehitable. I have always thought that Mabel is likely the short form of M(ehit)abel. My grandmother bristled when I would right her name as Mable. So much for husbands of the 17th and 18th century who couldn't correctly spell their wife's first name.

14346382 John Whalen
Hi Marie,
I am doing family research. My Father, who is deceased and can't answer any of my many questions, many years ago told me about
his great great uncle, John Whalen who served with the Vermont Volunteers during the Civil War and died in 1917. Is this your family? Do you know anything about him? My father's name was Treanor so this may actually be the husband of a great great aunt.
Hoping you know something about him!
Thank You,
Kathleen Allen
