Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am a house call veterinarian and I take care of dogs and cats all over Los Angeles County. I provide preventive healthcare, routine medicine and when the time comes, gentle and compassionate home euthanasia.

In my spare time, I like to hike and I like to research my family tree. I've done a lot of legwork on ancestry.com, familysearch.org, findagrave.com and many other sites. Along the way, I've discovered the true value of obituaries and grave markers: they contain a lot of useful and interesting information, but they also give us an opportunity to pause, remember and reflect.

I became a volunteer photographer at findagrave.com to help other folks in their quests for keepsakes and their journeys for knowledge. Los Angeles has some pretty expansive cemeteries and I am happy to explore them for others that can't make the trip.

Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills is my main stomping ground. It's close to home and the photo requests almost always include a burial location, which makes my job a whole lot easier.

If you have an interest in a grave somewhere else in Los Angeles, I'd be more than happy to photograph it, if you can connect with the cemetery and provide me with an exact burial location.

RE: Thomas, Btsy & Martha Gordon
You might search "Gordon" in the Phillips Cemetery. I added 5 or six Gordons which were not listed in the cemetery (plus added photos) in addition to John Crapo who is apparently Besty Gordon's father.

Don't know if the others are relatives but they were very close to your requests and Martha was next to John Carpo.

RE: Julius Andrew Gordon
With much research this morning I did find her! She is buried in Wisconsin with her parents and her brother Anthony. I have linked Julius to her, so if you go to his memorial you will be able to find her. Her mother is listed in the 1940 census as living with Julius and Josephine but they have her last name spelled Kulha and looking close at the actual written page I thought the H looked more like a K and tried it and Bam, there they were, then searching her dad I found them in the census in Wisconsin and Josephine's death cert in California. Also I found Josephine M. Kulka in the Indiana, Marriage Index, 1800-1941

Name: Josephine M. Kulka
Spouse Name: Julius A. Gordon
Marriage Date: 17 Nov 1919
Marriage County: Lake

I hope this helps!!

Steve, So sorry about the picture being entered 5 times. I can not remove other peoples photos from my memorial BUT I can contact Find A Grave and they will remove the other 4 pics or you can also send them an email requesting and letting them know. They are normally pretty quick at it. To contact them you just email them photo@findagrave.com
Add a cemetery photo to cemeteries without photo option, correct a cemetery photo, and report any inappropriate photo.

Let me know if you are doing it or if you want me to.
