|Dustin Balkema||Thank you for the picture|
I am just gaining the interest to document my family history. I knew so many great people growing up and so many are now a memory. I cannot stand the thought of letting those memories slip away.
I found a picture of my grandfather and it really brought back some memories. I am happy to contribute to this effort any way I can.
|Graves||Hang in there|
My family has been having issues with this member too. My mother has been trying to get her brothers and grandparents transferred to her and received nothing but grief. Don't let the few unpleasant folks here distract you. Most of the volunteers are great to work with. Email me if you like - firstname.lastname@example.org
Nearly 18,000 photos added - Nice work - Very impressive

|roger larson||The Nordine's|
Andrew Pehrsson Nordine was my father's uncle. I noticed you have inserted a photo of he and his wife, Hilda Marie Floren. Can you tell me whether you are related, and/or where the photo originated? I have another photo of the family taken at the same time in front of that same house. Seeking further information.
|George Mackey||Daniel S. Buck 1878-1966|
Rick, Daniel S. Buck, born 1878 and died 1966, is not buried at North Weare cemetery, but at Lakeview Cemetery, in Ludington, Mason County, Michigan. His 2nd wife, Nellie, is also buried there, in the same general area, but several rows away from his grave. Both of their graves have simple markers.
Alfred Obarton, husband of Daniel Buck's sister Cynthia, is also buried at Lakeview cemetery, in an unmarked plot, but the cemetery has no record for Cynthia, who died 23 July 1921. Do you know where Cynthia is buried?

Of because of you, who added the photo, I am not able to delete it. I did find another image which is clear and readable. So I am asking if you can delete that particular image? Thanks.
|Kit and Morgan Benson||RE: Bucks Please turn over|
Understand two things: I just started a new job and I just finished moving to a new house. Both take up a lot of time. I devoted my week days to my new job (with the economy the way it is, I didn't want to get fired), and the weekends and evenings to helping my family get settled in the house. We have a lot of stuff to go through.
OK, my wife's only Buck connection is to an unknown man with the last name of Buck, who married Mary Ellen Faircloth, daughter of Solomon B. and Katherine Prosser Faircloth. Mary Ellen was born about 1865 in Poweshiek County, Iowa. Date of death is unknown. Children are unknown. That is about all we have. Mr. Buck and Mary Ellen were not in the direct lineage of my wife, but were cousins, so we did not spend a lot of time researching her.

I am currious to know if this woman could possibly be a relation to you. The spellings of names where unsure way back when, and Mary was married to a Michael Culhane in Canada (perhaps Ireland though). Michael was the brother to Thomas Culhane, the one you took a picture of Tombstone for in Ludington...Lakeview Cemetery
