Your tombstone stands among the rest; Neglected and alone. The name and date are chiseled out On polished, marbled stone.
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn.
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born.
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood, in bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own.
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years age
spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so.
I wonder if you lived and loved,
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot,
And come to visit you.
I found this and fell in love with it but, do not know who wrote it.
Hope that you enjoy reading it.

Have ebook on mothers side "Little Berry Cooley" by Jimmy Earl Cooley and now working one ebook on Nelson C Cooley m Mary Phillips. Need info on Jesse Phillips of MS,LA and his family. Also family surnames: Sanders, Phillips, Cooley, Tatum, Arrington, Bailey, and Sullivan.
My grandmother on my mothers side was Emma Harriott Adeline Bailey via Alfred Bailey and Jemima Fish via Isham Bailey. Emma m John Eugene Cooley son of Little Berry Cooley of MS.
Any help appreciated.

|Robert Braselton||RE: Info. Griffith Family-Bistineau Cem.|
The thing that brought my attention to Henry R. Griffith was that he was one of the jurors on the murder case involving the Reeves family that happened on Christmas Eve in the Groves community of Webster Parish back in 1916. It is such a sad story of the senseless murder of almost an entire family. If you haven't heard about that, you can read about it in a book written by Marilyn Miller entitled "Sons of Darkness, Sons of Light".

Thank you for the email. I added it to her memorial.
|Robert Braselton||RE: Eliza Susan Boyet Culverhouse # 52710182|
Great, that sounds reasonable to me that she would be the daughter of John T and Virginia Boyet. I will make the request to have the link from her to her parents made. Now if we could only find more information on the daughter, Sarah V.(Virginia is probably her middle name), then I think all of the children/siblings would be accounted for. Do you have anything on her that would help. Sarah most likely was born in 1868 since her parents married in 1867 and sister, Eliza Susan, was born in 1869.
|Robert Braselton||Eliza Susan Boyet Culverhouse|
There is an Elizabeth Susan Boyet Culverhouse that is buried in the Andrews Chapel Cemetery near Minden. Her memorial number is 52710182. Do you believe she is one of the older daughters of John T Boyet and Virginia Draper Boyet? The year of her birth fits right in with the dates of the other Boyet children. I would like to get her memorial linked to her parents' memorials if this is correct.

Hi Virginia, You may be right. I added the note you sent me about who you thought this baby may be and added a link to Charley L Davis. Maybe we can get some feedback on this memorial from someone.
|Leah||Ted H. Lumpkin Find A Grave Memorial# 38602936|
Hey Virginia!! I had an old reel to reel 7" of my dad, Ted Lumpkin, calling the last game of the season for the professional hockey team the Memphis Wings dated 3-28-65!!! When I got it today it also had the last interview with the manager, Eddie Bush. And many other folks....do you have any idea who would be interested in this history? Maybe I am just excited because I heard my daddy's voice! But I remember parties at the audordium with the players. They gave me a straight back wooden chair at 4 years old and told me to push it around the ice and when I was finished then I could skate. I have my dad's original playbook, as well at a wooden hockey stick and a hockey puck from 1965.
You have always helped me. Any advice would help!!!

|Linda||RE: Gertrude Terry Wise-44084537 & James Marion Wise-44327827|
Thank you for the helpful info. I am just perplexed that her father is listed as J.W. Terry on her death certificate.
There are some errors on Ancestry.com about Everette Jasper Terry ( her father).
Somebody liked him to the wrong parents.
Appreciate your help.

|Linda||Gertrude Terry Wise|
Can you possibly help with parents of Gertrude Terry? I have a different father listed for her than what her daughter put on her death certificate.
Find A Grave Memorial# 44084537
Can you possibly answer any questions about Gertrude's parents? There seems to be some discrepancy. Her death certificate gives a different father than what we always believed to be true.
