Bio and Links
Bio Photo I became interested in Genealogy about 8 years ago after going thru my grandmothers "Trunk of Treasures". The interest is now a full time obsession, which I enjoy.
Some of the main names in my line are Ray & Brewer from Tennessee. Ward, Bedwell, Ford, Wiley, Jackson, Mourton and Pickard in Arkansas. Akers, Roberts, Stevens, May in Texas.
I would love to hear from anyone who is researching any branches of "my" tree.
If you see a flower from me on a memorial, that means they are in my tree, so get in touch.

Alice Morton
Hello Christina
My Morton family were in Virginia in the 1700's then moved on to Kentucky where many descendents live today. My branch moved on to Missouri and after the Civil War moved to Idaho. If any of your Morton folks were in Virginia and Kentucky in the 1700 and 1800's let me know their names and I will see if I have them in my database..

Nancy Kesterson Memorial
Thank you so much for removing the duplicate memorial for Nancy Kesterson. You have duplicated 4 other memorials for our family, but I will request that you remove each individually because I think that will be easier for you.

Nancy Kesterson Memorial
Hi Christina - You have created a duplicate memorial for Nancy Kesterson. The memorial you created was Find A Grave Memorial# 65736031 which you created on Feb. 16, 2011. The original memorial was created 5 years earlier on Sept. 30, 2006 by D Ann (#46842261). You also used D Ann's photo. Please remove your duplicate to avoid any confusion for our family. Thanks for your prompt attention to this request.

RE: Memorial #120815998
Hello, Christina. It is my policy to not copy obituaries (or other published material) into findagrave memorials unless their copyright has expired. I am aware that many contributors do so, but I am following the findagrave guidelines listed on their FAQ page.

That is the bad news. The good news is that I could easily transfer the memorial to you and you could do as you like with it.

Please let me know if you would like me to do that.

Lena Harris
Lena was married to my grandfather, George Harris when she died in Texas. Both died before I was born. I know nothing about Lena, except her maiden name was Roberts, and she was buried at Childress, Texas. She does have a child buried next to my Grandparents, George and Alice Harris in the Fellowship Cemetery at Dierks, Arkansas. Thank you for the picture and any other information you may have about Lena, I would appreciate. Thank you.

RE: Akers Family
Henry Jackson Akers was my grandmother's half brother. Her mother was Amanda Taylor.....his mother was Tennessee Roberts. In Henry's later years he lived with his sisters in Poteet or Jourdanton...don't recall which. Both "sets" of kids were very close to each other.
