Regarding the new edit feature---|
Please do not put bio information or link numbers or transfer requests in the new quick edit section. That should be sent in a regular Suggest A Correction (SAC), located in the lower part of the edit page. The note section in the quick edit area is for information relating to the requested changes, i.e. "per birth certificate" or "headstone is incorrect", or "typo in name field", etc.
I get a vast amount of information to be added to memorials, and many, many times it takes longer than the 30 days Find A Grave suggests to have them completed. I did have a full computer crash last year, and I lost all my emails. It didn't take long before they were all stacked up again! Seems for every one I do, two more come in. Way back when, there weren't options to link and transfer--I think I had entered about 80,000 names when that came along, so there is going to be a large amount of editing to do.

How do I get a relative's memorial transferred to me?
First, Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. Transferring of management should only be requested If you have extensive changes to make to a memorial. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. It would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree. Transfer requests that do not include relationship to deceased or are out of guidelines are deleted.
