I am retired from Bayer Corporation, where I worked for over 32 years. I enjoy adding obituaries and photos, mostly of people I have known, worked with and, mainly, my dear departed family members. I think it's nice that they can have a memorial page on the find a grave site.|

That's her niece that married a Williamson. Melvina Paden is misspelled Melvina Baden, she married a Peter Oregon. Look under Peter Oregon for her marriage record at West Virginia State Archives. She is certainly a mystery.

Is this cemetery completely read? I'm having a terrible time trying to Locate Melvina Jane Paden, daughter of Jesse and Jane Paden. She was born 1839 and married a Peter Oregon in Wetzel in 1857. I believe his name is misspelled, should be Reagan, O' Reagan or some similar variation. A unknown Mormon member has her death date as 1927 in Wetzel county. Of hundred's of search's this is all I have found. Are there cemetery books or just walking and making records.

Did you know Allen Kirby?
|Janice Dyer Doran||duplicate|
Hi Dan....I went to leave a flower and note on Larry's memorial page and see there is a duplicate. I noticed "That's my cuz" entered it. I don't know who they are, but they seem to not give family or friends a chance to enter their family as they "gobble" up the first thing that comes out of the newspaper ad post it. I had a great aunt pass away a few months ago and this happened. I had already entered all the family members, had them attached and went to enter her and "oops" already entered. I couldn't add anything to the bio or anything. I asked them for a transfer, but they never responded. They are very rude and it is just a numbers game with them. I appreciate it so much when someone enters our loved ones, but when they won't transfer them over so you can put additional information in, I think that is a disgrace. Anyway just thought I would let you know. I'm glad you entered another page for Mick.

Thank you Mr. Knowlton for leaving the wonderful memorial to my Mom. I have been a member of Find A Grave for a few years but until this week I hadn't the heart to post one. I have added a few photos of her, and am updating where her marker is in Northview.
|Waunita M Herron||Obediah Peden's Mother!|
Thank you for the correction. The reason I recognized that Abigail Walton Peden was not his mother is because she is my GG Grandmother. Abigail is my G Grandmother Rachel Peden Brown's mother.
When Rachel came from PA to visit her cousins after her father and their father had died, she met the Andrew Brown family who were their family friends and married the oldest son John Brown in Tyler Co. KS. This record of their marriage is on the internet although it was hard to locate as the transcriber spelled her surname as PEDER not PEDEN.
|Waunita M Herron||Obediah Paden's mother!|
Thank you for linking Obediah Paden to his father Samuel Peden Sr. However the lady shown as his mother, was his brother Alexander's wife, Abigail.
Please link him to his mother Lydia Potter Peden Find A Grave # 86402077
