Bio

As the adopted only child of older parents (how badly was *I* spoiled?!), I've been going to funerals since I was seven years old. Consequently, I have no fear of the dead or cemeteries. In fact, I find cemeteries to be peaceful, historic places, and I enjoy reading inscriptions (the older, the better). I've love photographing graveyards and am glad to be a part of the Find-a-Grave community.

NOTE: After contributing over 45,000 records to Find-a-Grave, I have pretty much "lost the spark." I continue to check back here every few months to do maintenance and take care of edits, but please don't expect a fast response on requests. Thanks for your understanding.

Your best bet is to send me an update through the website so that I can do an automatic update - the kind that shows up in the blue bar at the top of the page here instead of the kind that shows up in my email and requires me to do "surgical" updates one by one to memorials. If you send me an email, you'll likely wait months for a response. If I get an email asking me to make extensive changes to a memorial, I'll probably just transfer management to you.

In addition, I am happy to transfer ANY memorial unless it's someone to whom I'm related or someone I knew personally (check my virtual cemeteries because those are the people I'm talking about).

"Show me the manner in which a nation cares for its dead, and I will measure with mathematical exactness, the tender mercies of its people, their loyalty to high ideals, and their regard for the laws of the land."

- Eighteenth-century British statesman William Gladstone
