Samuel W Grinnell
At the bottom of Samuel's biography I added a note that the photo came from the Sunfield Historical Society and also gave the web page.

Highland Cemetery in Ipswich, Mass.
Hi BluMoKitty,

I sent you an email using the name Benj Perkins by accident. I meant Abraham :)

Please change the cemetery for Abraham Perkins' Memorial to Old North Burying Ground. I never took a photo is what is now considered Highland Cemetery on FindAGrave so all of my origated memorials should be at Old North. My photo on the Highland Cemetery front page is a photo looking down on Old North Burying Ground from the top of the terraces.

All of my photos and memorials should be in Old North Burying Ground. It's a long story. The town of Ipswich combined all of the cemeteries that are adjacent to one another (there are several) at some point, so FindAGrave originally had all of the cemeteries combined into what they called Highland Cemetery. One day a few years after my memorials were set up FindAGrave decided to split up the cemeteries leaving all of my memorials in Highland Cemetery which would have caused major problems with duplicates for years to come. I had the move my memorials to Old North Burying Ground maybe a year ago.

Best Wishes,
John G.

I still have a bunch to remove and it is a slow process. I'm transcribing them into the bio as I go with attribution. I don't like the rule of no scanned obituaries especially on very old memorials where copyright it not the issue. But I am removing them because of the no obit rule. I am more than happy to add any obits with attribution to the bio section so feel free to send them in a SAC. I still have to figure out how I am going to weed through other people memorials that I added photos to since I have to many photo to be able to use the photo link. I'm up to the W's in my own but have not started on other peoples yet. So if you bump into one on one of your memorials let me know and I will transcribe it asap and send the transcription to you. Its been a TON of work.

Sir name HOPO
I saw this while researching ancestry lineage for a direct decent of Decker B Hoppough Jr., which was married to this ancestor and had their son CM Hopo.

I was wondering if you have other images or info you could share?

Do you have any pictures of the men?

Happy Holidays
