I have been fascinated by cemeteries since I was a kid. I grew up near the Old Baptist Cemetery in Hannibal - the one most people agree that Mark Twain used as a model for Tom Sawyer. That led me to other places. Over the years, I've explored a lot of cemeteries.|
Then, a few years ago, my mother got interested in geneology in a big way. She loved to research, and amassed a database of well-over 100,000 names. I'm now sorting through that database, and I've decided to help others in the same way.
So here I am, splitting my time between my own research, and documenting cemeteries in the area for other peoples' research. Let me know where you're looking, and I'll do my best to help. Feel free to use my images for your own geneology work - that includes using the images for Ancestry or Family Tree Maker. Please remember to give proper credit if you do any publishing. I prefer to be listed as Michael Mann, Quincy, IL

|Jason Heckenkamp||Thank you|
My name is Jason and I wanted to send a quick "thank you" for the work you've done. I'm doing some genealogy research and I was able to link Rose M. and J. Fred Heckenkamp (my side of the family).

Her dad is Find A Grave # 104953014 and her mom is Find A Grave # 104952813 if you would please link them. Thank you so very much.
Hello - a brief note about the O'Farrell memorials - once or twice I sent something extra if I found it while continuing -
And if you'd read the note I sent about Martin O'Farrell and get back to me, I can proceed... thanks.
(I just sent it so no huge rush, just wanted to call attention to it in particular.)
|CjR||Many Thank-Yous :)|
Just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate all the photos you've taken for the Apenbrink/Appenbrink headstones.

Beside taking pictures of wargraves, I have now started with my wife a small business in which we are placing dayfresh flowerboucquets on wargraves, memorials, cemeteries from Ypres to the Somme. I have started this business due to the many requests from people around the world.
This service can be found on our website: http://www.wargrave.eu/
In the customer section you will find an example of a commemoration I did last week for a Scottish client in Dunkirk.
If this service would interest you please drop me an email: email@example.com
It would be great if you could share this with people you know.
