Herbert John Graffis
After finishing with placing flowers on my parents and grandparents graves in the South Victory Cemetery in Mason County Michigan, my husband and I noticed a gravestone over by the dumpster in the cemetery. This gravestone had the name of Herbert John Graffis on it, with the dates of August 21-1945 to August 22-1945. I decided to do a little searching to find out where this stone belongs, and I came upon this website. Noticing that you added a photo of this stone, I figured maybe you would know something about it. I just want to know if someone vandalized and moved it, or what happened? If needed, I can put it back to where it belongs. Let me know.

Thank you,

Rick ,
My husband is a cousin of yours on the Gouin side. I have been emailing and phone conversations with Jan. We wondered if there was an obituary for Jan ? We are so very sorry for your loss. Will you be putting a memorial here for Jan ?

Thank you for the picture
I am just gaining the interest to document my family history. I knew so many great people growing up and so many are now a memory. I cannot stand the thought of letting those memories slip away.

I found a picture of my grandfather and it really brought back some memories. I am happy to contribute to this effort any way I can.
