I started doing FAG because I enjoy going to cemeteries. I especially like the older stones because they tell so much about the people by what family members put on their stones. My sister and I have been walking and photographing the Burkburnett Cemetery to correct the many mistakes that are out there. There is no greater loss than to lose records and not be able to know who is buried in a cemetery. This cemetery is very dear to me because a great many people buried in it are relatives of mine.
I am happy to help in any way that I can. I do travel quite a bit for FAG so if there's something you need, please ask. If it's within reason, I'm sure I would be glad to do it.
When a correction is sent to me, I will look it over and decide whether the information is correct and necessary. However, I am human and will make mistakes. There is no need to be rude when contacting me about one of those mistakes. Also, those of you who do not have emails to respond to, don't expect a response back.
TRANSFERS: I'm happy to make transfers but PLEASE make sure you include the memorial number. I visit over 50 different cemeteries so it makes things easier for me. Make sure you follow the FAG guidelines for transfers. Also, please include YOUR member number with the requests. I RARELY CHECK THE MESSAGES ON HERE SO DON'T ASK FOR ME TO MAKE CHANGES ON HERE. PLEASE EMAIL ME!!
Thelma Myers Paula, Thank you for this photo of my relatives grave. You must have pulled some strings as I had a note from November 2015 that the cemetery was uncooperative. Thanks again . SEM- South Carolina
your bio I wanted to tell you I read your bio and your the only one I've found in all these yrs. who truly is recording a cemetery the right way, to make the corrections and get it right, not to do numbers. I'm truly into genealogy in finding mine, my hubby and my x's histories for our children together. So some yrs. back Find A Grave became a God send to me. I do it in order to find family members and link them together but if it were not for people going into cemeteries and recording them like you then I couldn't do mine so God Bless you, I do appreciate your hard work, Kay.
Cornstubble My mother has told me time and time again, about a person of the name of Norman Edgar Cornstubble and I haven't found anything, until today. When I was searching Federal censuses in the name of Cornstubble I happened to come across a 1930 Census with the name of Dewey Cornstubble
Do you know of any name of that name, meaning Norman Edgar or Dewey Cornstubble. thanks
Colvin 32944927 Thank you so much for putting up that photo! My father died when I was 8 and I've been trying to get info on his family. This helps so much, I never knew my greatgrandfathers name. Thank you so much, Shelley Colvin
Find A Grave Memorial# 39971507 Hi Paula, I made a mistake when I sent you a edit for Bertie I. Belyeu Wall. Bertie is my 3 cousin 2x's removed. Her mother was who I say she was, however I didn't know her mother had a findagrave. I had to delete her mother's findagrave because I ran across her shortly after sending you a link request. Will you please make note of this I would appreciate it and I'm very sorry for the inconvenience it may have caused. Her Mother's findagrave memorial is 60781634.
