|I am a professional genealogist and have been doing genealogy for over 21 years. The family lines I have extensively researched have been Seth Martin, Jabez Ham, Johann Jacob Frisch, Christian Klemm, Johan Lorez Schenk, Wiles, James Dempster, Judy Upham, and many others. I have finalized my research by completing books on 7 several of the above. I really enjoy helping others to trace their past. Instead of just entering names and dates like many do, I try to enter information about that person and link family members together. This helps when someone is trying to locate an ancestor. If I can't locate the family members, then I do enter just the dates. I also believe in keeping family with family so if there is someone that you want transferred who is a family member, just ask and I will be glad to do so.|

by the way i thank you and all the other volunteers out there who even though we are all human and make mistakes (me too) you still contribute your time and energy to helping others... i have met many family through my research and a lot of them are closer to me than my own family.. i'm the black sheep. so thank you for the effort

thank you. not having a good day
|Mary Moeller||Church Pratt|
According to the records i have and Church Pratt is direct ancestor his parents are John and Mary pratt. he was born in ohio. they came from virginia. the one you listed as their daughter mary emma is their granddaughter. for the reason i listed on her memorial. john's son (church's brother) john married a mary sweet in fulton county. for john and mary to have had mary emma they would have been in their mid 60s ... not a problem for the guy but not possible for the woman. Church is the youngest. he was born in 1849 in Ohio when they were migrated to Illinois ... well journeying to Illinois. Church married the daughter of Huston C. Demorris a well known fulton county physician of that time.
Yes, thank you for the clarification ~ I see you have some listed as A'hearn...if the Athearn's I have are your line, I would be happy to transfer ...I'm not related to them ~ Shirleen
Hi again - I'm a bit confused on your last edit, JK ~ I previously listed him dying in Fulton County, but you posted an obit which reads that he died at Bartonville State Hospital, Bartonville; and that was in Peoria County, not Fulton County. Please clarify. Thanks, Shirleen
Hello J.K.: Thank you so much for the edit on the birth year for Frank Edward Athearn - I appreciate the help, but believe his Draft Registration vital data is probably more accurate.
The obituary information did give me a "place of death" for him, and also a spouse's name so I used that info, thanks again. Cheers~ Shirleen

The plaque had her name as Tillie Marie Kidd. I noticed when trying to find infor on her that he name was a Lillie. Must have been a mistype
|Diana Derry||Tillie Marie Kidd (Ellisville )|
Hello, There used to be a metal funeral home plaque with her name on it. Marie Kidd. When it was destroyed over the years we went out and put a make shift head stone up for her. Makes me sad she never had a regular head stone. Even sadder yet that she was smothered to death. Wonder if it was intentional or accidental?

Thank you for the burial information on Anna - I worry about cemetery records that old, because I often find those records very poor. I have moved her to the Wiley Cemetery where a sister and brother are buried, although my original source had placed her at Zion.
These are not my family and I only added what I had found for a German friend of mine. If you would like transfer of any in these family names, so you could continue to document them, I would welcome that.
Finding stones would be great; because, as in the Scandinavian name searches, these are also a mess. The descriptions of Johann Schrodt are mixed in with every John Peter, John Henrich, John Nicholas, John Wendel, etc., let alone the morphing of surname spellings- not my cup of tea for research. Thanks again ~ Cheers, Shirleen
