|Salvarsan||RE: Oramel Rich|
The "Wisconsin Civil War Roster" can be read online. The easiest way to find it is to Google that phrase - let me know if you have trouble finding it.
He can be found on page 580 of Part 1 of the Regimental Index.
It doesn't say exactly what day he was wounded (nor the type of wound), but I know that the battle ran from 27 Mar to 8 Apr, 1865.
I just found a pension payment card which states he sustained head wounds (this is the exact statement, which includes abbreviations): "Total loss of R. ear, res. dis. L. eye, res. total disability as to render & cc". It doesn't make complete sense, but you can see that he was wounded in the head.
Link to this record:
If you want more detailed information, you can send for his complete pension file ($85?).
Hope this helps.

Just a FYI I also uploaded a photo and transcription of John G's marker.

|Anne ||Betty Jean Sweeney|
Hi Charles, it is me again ;).
I tried to fill a photo request today for Betty but did not find her in my records. Did a little research and see that there is a second memorial for her that has her buried in North Ferrisburg Cemetery with a memorial # 113710563. She is buried there with her husband Louis Earl Sweeney with a photo added also.
Just thought I would let you know.

|Popeye||RE: Rigton Thomas Burial Place|
Thanx for the response, Charles. I live only about a mile from the cemetery, and the only evidence of burials there are posted to Find A Grave.
I'll keep on looking and maybe get lucky. Thanx again, and have a great day.

|Popeye||Thomases in Skipperton Ga.|
Hi Charles, Dennis (Popeye) Roland here in Macon. Do you by chance have anything on Rigdon Thomas Sr. and his wife Catherine?? I'm looking for their final resting place and haven't had any luck so far. Anything you may choose to share of the Thomas family would be appreciated.
Thanx for all you do in Find A Grave and have a great day.

Mary's gravestone (Find A Grave #69098145) is laying flat on the ground. It is in need of being properly restored by a trained professional. If you would like a free estimate to restore the stone, let me know. I am a gravestone conservator who is fully trained and certified in working with historic gravestones.
Opps! Looks like they are both correct. I did not even see the one in the ground... sorry.

|John Glassford||RE: Photo|
It is a coincidence that you wrote me the same day I was researching and uploading photos for a huge monument with the Swasey surname at Central Cemetery in Beverly, Masachusetts. Here is the link, check it out:

"If i may ask where did you obtain the copy of Calvin Tuck's death notice"
I usually get death certificates and other documentation from the Family Search website. You can click on and download actual documents which are digital photos of old records. To upload any of them to FindAGrave you would have to reduce most files by at least 50%. Here is the link to the site:
You may copy and paste the link to you browser and start searching right away.
