My primary interest is in accurately documenting the final resting places of our ancestors. If you have corrections or additional information, I will gladly handle them for the entries I have made. If you wish to manage a memorial that you have some connection to, I will be happy to transfer that function. My photos may be used by anyone without requiring permission.|

Thank you, Ron.

I believe her name is Nancy Jane McCalment, not McClelland. Do you have proof it is McClelland? I do not have definitive proof it is McCalment.
I do know a Daniel J. Fogarty married Nancy Jane McCalment on 15 Jan 1890 in Hendricks County, Indiana.
I would appreciate your input.
|Carol Dorward||Hepperly family in Pike Twp Cemetery|
I have been tracking the Moyer/Myers family of Tazewell County and, as a result, traced one descendant to the Hepperly family, from Tazewell and Woodford counties. In that process, I’ve just spent about ten hours trying to understand the obituaries and other documents as to how the Hepperly families around Chenoa are connected. Here’s what I now think I know:
At least two brothers, John Alexander and Orin Erastus Hepperly, were born in Groveland Twp., Tazewell Co. to William P. and Margaret O’Brien Hepperly. They both married in Tazewell Co. and later moved to the Pike Twp., Livingston Co., area.
John Alexander Hepperly married Sarah Adeline Small and had at least the following sons, Earl L. Hepperly, George William Hepperly, and Alva D. Hepperly.
Orin Erastus Hepperly married Tarcy Durella Foster and had the following children: Harry William Hepperly, Elsie M. Hepperly, and Myrtle Esther Hepperly.
And, now, where the lines blur and it gets confusing! The obituaries keep referring to brothers and sisters when, in reality, these children may have grown up as siblings because of blood relations, but they weren’t necessarily siblings.
Harry William Hepperly married Celia Belle Murphy and had the following children:
Harley Foster Hepperly, Russell Orin Erastus Hepperly, and Vista Leonne Hepperly.
After Harry William Hepperly died, Celia Belle Murphy married, secondly, the first cousin of her husband, Earl L. Hepperly, and they had the following children: Delmar Leroy Hepperly and Virgil Delos Hepperly.
In the meantime, Earl L. Hepperly had been married previously to Mae Thrane and they had these children: Lawrence Sterling Hepperly, John Thrane Hepperly, and Mary Adeline Hepperly.
The children of Harry William Hepperly and Celia Murphy would be half-siblings as well as second cousins to the children of Earl L. Hepperly and Celia Murphy.
The children of Earl Hepperly and Mae Thrane would be half-siblings to the children of Earl Hepperly and Celia Murphy.
The children of Earl Hepperly and Mae Thrane would, therefore, be second cousins to the children of Harry William Hepperly and Celia Murphy, if I have all of this calculated correctly.
Celia Belle Murphy Hepperly Hepperly did marry, a third time, to John Henry Ogg who had at least five children from a previous marriage (according to census records.)
Furthermore, I know one obituary makes reference to Delmar Hepperly, but that Delmar Leroy Hepperly was deceased and the Delmar referenced was Delmar B. Hepperly of Van Wert, OH who was the son of Alva D. Hepperly. He was about five years younger than Delmar Leroy Hepperly referenced above.

I had about 80 to 100 photo obs deleted. Guess you need to re read the rules. NO photo obs. Hate to see you wasting your time on stuff that will get deleted at some point in time.
Have a nice day.

Do you have any info about Owen Patterson's family that I can contact? I think he may have been my grandpa's nephew. Want to check it out. Thanks

|Gregory Smith||Duplicate entry for Mae Kivett|
I do family research for me and my wife's family and noticed a duplication for one of your entries. You have a Mae Kivett (126115128). There is also in the same cemetery an entry for Ida Mae Lineberry Kivett(36920800). I believe they are the same person, because the obit you have on there states her husband's name Loren Kivett (which is one of my wife's cousin).
The other entry is by knighthawk40. I am sending same messaage to that person to see if they can be merged.
