I think it is important to remember people who have gone before us. Everyone has/had a place in this world and I think it is important that they be remembered.

Hugh Trayner & Catherine Teresa Luckenbaugh
I just wanted to say, "Thank You!" for the information you placed online in regard to Hugh Trayner, his daughter Catherine Teresa Luckenbaugh, and their families. I wouldn't have been able to narrow down Hugh Trayner's line so quickly and accurately without the information you provided.

Question regarding plot in Mount Olivet Cemetary

You took a picture of my grandfather's grave marker at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Hanover, PA (Clair W. Garrett, 1903-1998). Thank you.

This feels strange to ask, but if you are ever back at the cemetery, I would greatly appreciate it if you could tell me the names on other markers in the same family plot or within close proximity to my grandfather's plot (Memorial# 102431106).

Thank you.

Lillian A Braunreuter Kelly
Thanks so much for finding and adding Lillian's obituary! She was my great grandmother. I have one quibble about the copy, I don't know whether it arose in the original article or the transcription. Her sister's name was Frieda, Frieda's husband was Edgar Tritt. They're buried together in Evergreen Cemetery. Can you please link Frieda with her family? I'll leave it to you to decide whether to fix the copy.

I'm happy to add that the grandson who survived Lillian is still with us.

Misti...My name is Beverly Grimes Creps. I was born in 1949 in Hanover Hospital in Hanover Pa, on 9 Nov. I was approx. 2 months prem., from what I have been told. My adoptive parents, George R and Mary Elizabeth Grimes, from Burgettstown, PA, came and got me sometime before Thanksgiving. My "mother" was a registered nurse and assured everyone I would get the best of care at home in Burgettstown. As I grew, my mother asked me a few times if I ever wanted to know anything and my answer was the same. no, you and daddy are my parents. When I married, she tried to get my husband to get me to ask her and I still did not want to know..she told him if I did not ask her, she would be the only person who knew..when she passed, I had to take care of all of her business, and when I opened her lock box at the bank, I found two names, along with my adoption papers. Those names were Bettie M Decker, 417 N Franklin St and Richard E Little 202 N 2nd Avenue, both of Hanover PA. I believe I have found that my father had died in 1967..don't know what of or anything about him. I know he was then married to a woman named Gretna and still resided in Hanover. But, did they have childred? If so, they would be 1/2 siblings to me. And what about Bettie Decker? I can find nothing on her. Can you help me?

John Easley

Hi. I saw the request come through for John C. Easley in Spring Hill. I found more information on him from cemetery records. I sent an edit to the owner of the memorial with the following info:

Middle name - Cleveland

Born - July 17, 1884

Buried in Section 6.2

I hope this information helps you if you are trying to research him.

Debra Bemiller-Robertson
Hi Misty,
I was wondering the Bemillers in Pennsylvania..are they are desendants of Phillip Bemiller from Germany around 1823.

Phillip is my 4th great grandfather and I heard that he possibly had a brother John that came over also, but stayed on the east coast.

Phillip settled in Butler Ohio.

From what I can gather, ALL the Bemillers in the United States are related.

Thank oyu for your time.
