Bio

MONTY LEE ROBERTSON, 1940 - Present

Monty L. Robertson, eldest son of Charles Estel and Wilma Olive Mayfield Robertson was born at 11:50 P.M. on Saturday, January 20, 1940 at St. Mary Hospital, in Quincy, Adams County, Illinois. He married Pok San "Suzie" Kim on Thursday, January 5, 1967 at the United States Embassy in the Capitol City of Seoul, South Korea.

The subject of this brief biography is at present a Military Retiree of the United States Army and is a Veteran of the Vietnam War. I am currently, and have been since the late 1960's, a member of American Legion Post #37 at Quincy, in Adams County, Illinois and also a Lifetime Member of The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post #10302 located at Springfield, in Sangamon County, Illinois. My estranged wife, Suzie Robertson passed away on March 22, 2003. Hobbies include, but are not limited to, Fishing, a life long love of Drum and Bugle Corps competition, Photography, and since April of 1995, the Genealogical Research and Recording of the Robertson and Mayfield Family History.

I have tried to be as accurate and precise as my sources allow in the posting of the Burial and Biographical Information I have submitted to the Find A Grave Memorial Site. I know I have probably made a lot of mistakes in the individual biography information, so if anyone has anything to add, or would like changes made, please feel free to Email me at the address provided. I am open to all forms of active criticism but before I will change any of the information in my personal data base I will require documented proof…mrbrtsn
