Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been interested in genealogy for many years. I was fortunate to have had a great grandfather and great uncle who did extensive research back in the early to mid-1900s when getting information required letter writing, travel and research to get things done. I commend them on their determination to find and accumulate facts about relatives and their lives in years past.

Any photo I have posted on Find a Grave is intended to be used.... Please feel free to use them in personal use and documentation of your loved ones.

I hope my listings help other people in their genealogy efforts.

Thanks for having an interest in the history of our families. It is something that becomes more and more important to me as time inevitably goes on.

I gladly transfer any of the memorials that I have created when the person is not my relative or if you are a closer relative than I am.

Collins cemetary
I see you took alot of pictures at collins cemetary last year. I am interested in Vashti and William Wallace. Did you not Take photos off all the stones or did you not find one for them? Thank you, Tim

Collins Cemetery photos
I agree the photos are better. Thank you for going to all that trouble. I have 2 questions for you since you actually saw the tombstones hopefully you were able to make it out. On Arrod V which turns out to be Arod V but there is an additional initial. Can you tell me what that is and also on James' can you make out the initials of the father? Should be A. I. but hard to determine in the photo. Hoagland is readable, no problem.

James: 9327015
Arod: 9326866

Thanks! Marji

Hoagland tombstones
I cannot begin to tell you how thrilled I was to get the message that these photos had been taken. The request has been on there for a long time. Thank you so much for doing this. Marji

Weller Family
Sorry for the blank message!
There is a small marker on the north side of the large stone for F. P. and Nancy Weller, with the name Lucy. I took the picture but don't know if it is for Nancy & F.P.'s daughter or his first wife. The WPA site shows "Lucy A. Weller (no dates) wife of F. P. and F.P. Weller died Dec. 25, 1896, age 73" at Mount Zion Cemetery North of Martinsburg, Iowa. Don't know if the WPA records are in error or maybe F.P. had his name on both stones. Also WPA shows William Weller at West Cemetery (also known as Pleasant Grove) on the west edge of Sigourney, Iowa. The 1975 list I have of Pennington does not list William Weller.

If you can solve the "Lucy" mystery, I will add the picture.

Emma and W.A. Tuttle stone photo
Dick, thank you so much for getting a clear picture of my parent's Tuttle gravestone, posted on the Find a Grave site. I had been unsuccessful myself in the past, yet very much wanted a photo there. Living too far away now to visit their graves, I shall think of you, good neighbor, with gratitude when I visit via computer. Merle
