Bio

At the present time I am typing obituaries to memorials that I manage. If there is a newspaper clipping photo provided I will request that it be removed at the time the memorial is updated. Thank you for understanding.

Please DO NOT use any of my pictures on memorials for LIVING people! This is absolutely forbidden!

Please do NOT add newspaper article or obituary scans. The photo section is reserved for headstone/grave photos and possibly a portrait photo of the person. If you have an obituary scan, either type it up or send to me to retype and post.

TIP: When adding a tombstone photo if it is one of the funeral home markers enter it as 'other' which will make it possible to know that person still needs a 'tombstone' photo added.

First: If you are here to make corrections etc. Click the " Edit" tab. If you have nothing to add to a memorial, do not ask for a transfer, instead create a "Virtual cemetery" for your requested person.

Please take a minute to leave a floral for my brother and my parents

"The goal at Find A Grave should not be to manage all of your family members. If you have information to add, you should suggest it to the current manager and they should make the changes."

~Jim Tipton, creator of Find A Grave.

I manage over 60,000 memorials, currently if you want to add an update to a memorial your name will automatically show up at the end of the update.

For those of you who are new to FindAGrave: the ability to make hyperlink family connections was not possible until about March 2010. Also the format keeps changing here so sometimes names don't display quite the way the contributor originally intended. :) You will find many that are not connected and maiden names not appearing where they should. This is not malicious, it's simply format changes we volunteers have no control over and no way of knowing it happened. I'll be happy to correct accordingly. Please use the EDIT tab and click the suggestion option on the memorial for any request.

One of my goals is to honor veterans of all wars. I would suggest that if you have a loved one who was in World War II that he/she should be recognized at the official website for same.
