I currently live in Michigan but most of my ancestors were from Illinois. I have been researching my father's family for many years, and recently started working on my mother's side. My father's surnames are Andersen and Mewes (from Minnesota, Cook County and Edwards County Illinois areas), my mother's are Orrel (Orrell, Orel), Liddle and Blakeney from the Edwards and Wabash County, Illinois areas. My brothers and I still own the family farm in Edwards County IL and I try to get down there several times a year. I try to fulfill photo requests for that area when I am there.|
Also working on the Whitman-Casemore-Tennant families on my husband's side. They are mostly from New York, Canada, and Michigan.

I was wondering if I could have your permission to add your photos of the graves of Florence Nord and Ruth Newitt with credit to my Ancestry.com tree. Thank you for finding and photographing these graves!
Thats ok I'm pretty sure she has.

Thank you so much for your time in trying to find France Hawes gravestone....I took down the request. And I added a note to "no stone found as yet" to his page. I appreciate your time too!

I can't find this record. Would the name be spelled differently?
Nancy - Mildred Orel, daughter of Henry & Jersey Orel, was born on 28 Oct 1899. She was still alive when the 1900 census was taken in June 1900, but I believe she died shortly after it was taken. So her death date would be 1900. My picture of her grave may be slightly clearer.

Thank you Sherry. I am surprised that funeral home marker has lasted 58 years.
|Nancy Ann Mull Buchanan||RE: Thirzah Warmoth Bailey b.1832|
The tombstone had a first name of Thirzah--not Theresa.
