Bio and Links
Bio Photo Remember - there is a story under every tombstone. I am working to see that these people are not forgotten.

When my dear friend Rabbi Moshe Kushner ZT"L, heard of our work to memorialize the departed, he said "Todah. Really a big Yasher Koach." Little did we know that we would soon be memorializing him as well.

NOTE: If you want a memorial page transferred to you, just ask. I almost always transfer when asked.

ALSO: I give my blanket permission for any of the photographs I have taken and posted on Find A Grave to be used for any non-commercial purpose. Enjoy the photos - that's why I took them!

RE: Stromberg, Degginger, Leppel Headstones ...
Let me find out if relative Nancy Dorfman is on Find-A-Grave and wants to take them over. If she's not I'll be happy to have them!! I'll get back in touch about it when I hear back from her.

Thanks dor your kindness Jim!

RE: Thanks for your two photos!!
Yeah ... that was our dog "Penny". My Dad was a passionate amateur photography and did that shot from our second floor bathroom. That has always been my favorite shot of my Mother
taken about 1955. Thanks for noticing!

Thanks for your two photos!!
Great that you were able to take a picture of my Mother's grave (Cecelia Lawhead). I am so thrilled and thankful! Her passing was 40 years ago, almost to the day. You have helped me create a wonderful tribute to her. Thanks again, Jim
Best,

Hi Again Jim,

Do you have notes giving the location of Rabbi Bernhard Felsenthal's grave location?

He was my 2nd cousin 4x removed. I am in Texas, but one of my new found distant cousins in Illinois has searched for the gravesite and could not find it.

Thought I would ask to see if you knew.

Thank you,
Maurene

Hannah and Sylvan Kahn
Dear Jim,

Thank you SO MUCH for being one of my photo Angels!

Johan "Hannah" Kaufmann Kahn was my great grandmother Viola "Olly" Kaufmann Herz's sister. And Sylvan was Hannah's oldest child. Hannah's daughter Marion Harriet Kahn Kuhn Franklin was both my 1st cousin 2 times removed and my step-grandmother. :-)

I have many ancestors and collateral family buried in Rosehill. The family origins were Odenbach, Germany.

Thank you again for the headstone photos! It means a lot to me to be able to see their headstones.

God Bless,
Maurene

Hi Jim,
Thank you so much for the photos of Dorothy and Arnold's stones. And thank you for making the memorial for Arnold. I appreciate the favor very much.
I wish you all the best.
Yours,
Ken
PS Next time, if you let me know there is a spouse or some other family members buried with my requested individual, I will request the photos so you can get the credit.
