Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started working on my family's genealogy
several years ago. I currently live in New Hampshire and my roots are primarily in New England and New Brunswick, Canada. Among the family surnames I am researching are Dunton, Borey, Finch, Whittemore, Derby and LaFountain.

For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries. I find them very peaceful and a wonderful break from life's daily stresses.

Transfer requests outside of the guidelines will be decided on a case by case basis. When requesting a transfer please state what the relationship is to you. Just saying they are family is not sufficient. I will check your profile prior to transfer to make sure you aren't just a collector, but are a contributing member. If you want to collect family, you can use a virtual cemetery for that purpose. I would also like to add that asking nicely will go much farther than rude demands.

Please send all requests for corrections, links, bios and transfers using the edit tab on the memorial.

I will not make any links to a burial unknown. This site is named Find A Grave for a reason. If you do not know the final disposition, you should not be creating a memorial just to link family members. There are other sites available for building your family tree.

I spend a lot of time traveling, photographing, editing and posting my photos because I love doing it. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction if I can help others find their family. I do not mind if you use the photos for personal use, but please give credit.

RE: Memorial # 104057644
Thanks for checking. The great grandaughter of Charles Napier Ingalls and Evelyn Blackwood has told me that Evelyn's maiden name was Blackwood. I'm wondering if Evelyn might have remarried after Charles died to someone named Young since she lived for another 36 years after Charles' death.

Hi. I am researching the Ingalls family for a possible connection to me. I see you have Evelyn's maiden name as Young. From what I find through historical records, her maiden name was Blackwood. Can you tell me how you came by the Young name? Thanks.

Ok, thanks! And if you feel the "flowers" bio snips should be deleted because they contain a web link to additional info, please go ahead. It's unlikely anyone is actually going to read any of it (besides myself)... Take care, -Hal

Thanks! I appreciate it... Frankly, I just didn't want to keep pestering you with little bio edits. It seems to aggravate some people and I hoped to avoid that.

Actually, I'd previously been advised that if I wanted to add things to bios more than once, than rather than keep pestering people, should request management of the memorial or just add them with flowers.

I might add a few more pics for Bill since Ithe limit is now increased, but think a pic of the memorial stone should be on the first page. Would you mind adjusting the view order sometime? Thanks and all the best, -Hal

That's fine. I understand. Given your huge volume of contributions, I'm sure you get a ton of such requests and have to draw the line somewhere. Thanks anyway, for considering. -Hal

How can I put him as buried in Woodland Cemetery in Cleveland when he is buried in Conant Cemetery in Jaffrey, New Hampshire? Just asking.

Which Find A Grave rule does not allow the adding of monument photos from another cemetery?
