Bio and Links
Bio Photo I started working on my family's genealogy
several years ago. I currently live in New Hampshire and my roots are primarily in New England and New Brunswick, Canada. Among the family surnames I am researching are Dunton, Borey, Finch, Whittemore, Derby and LaFountain.

For as long as I can remember, I have always enjoyed visiting cemeteries. I find them very peaceful and a wonderful break from life's daily stresses.

Transfer requests outside of the guidelines will be decided on a case by case basis. When requesting a transfer please state what the relationship is to you. Just saying they are family is not sufficient. I will check your profile prior to transfer to make sure you aren't just a collector, but are a contributing member. If you want to collect family, you can use a virtual cemetery for that purpose. I would also like to add that asking nicely will go much farther than rude demands.

Please send all requests for corrections, links, bios and transfers using the edit tab on the memorial.

I will not make any links when the final disposition is not known. If you do not know the final disposition, you should not be creating a memorial. This is a grave registration site, not a place to build your family tree. Per the FAQs a memorial with a correct known burial location will always take preference over a burial unknown.

I spend a lot of time traveling, photographing, editing and posting my photos because I love doing it. It also gives me a lot of satisfaction if I can help others find their family. I do not mind if you use the photos for personal use, but please give credit.

Regarding your memorial for Ellen A Smith Tatton - the grave stone indicates her first name as Eleanor, wife of Harvey Tatton. Just wanted to check with you before posting a photo of the grave stone to check on the first name.

You are so welcome. I love doing research and when I stumble across a story as interesting as this, I tend to pass them along.

RE: Stimpson / Stimson
I would like to see the stone(s) to see the spelling. The cemetery index that I found on line has Stimpson. I pretty sure that later generations used Stimson and Stinson. We can just do our best! Thanks, Darryl

RE: Lilla Paul
I really appreciate your caution.
The Paul sisters' history starts rather sadly. Their father was Eugene John Paul, born in Pennsylvania, the son of Eli Paul. Father and son were both carpenters. 10 years older than Honora Hannah Fitzgerald they married 19 Dec 1877 in Chicago.

I found and researched the 4 daughters Mary Mae Wardrum- Guthrie (1878-1950); Anna Mae Strong (1879-1909); Nellie Roelle (1883-1967); and Lillian "Lila" Anderson (1887- 1975); and 1 son Arthur J. D. (1881-1973)
When Hannah died in 1889, the records speak to Eugene's inability to care for the children and their being "farmed out", to neighbors and family.

In April of 1904 Eugene's body was found, it laid in the coroners' office, unclaimed and was given to a University. The cause of Death was poisoning of carbonic aid, presumed suicide. If you go to Eugene on my Tyree you will find his death certificate.

RE: Lilla Paul
Lilla's sister Nelli was my Grand Aunt ( married my grandfather's brother)
Back to facts : Their father, Eugene Paul's death was ruled a suicide in 1904. Haven't found his burial ovation , yet, the autopsy reads Carbolic acid ingestion

Victor and Lilla did a lot of diplomatic traveling.

I'm working on why Victor is buried in Texas, like to check my facts

I,lol put a bio together for you tomorrow.
