|I have been working on my genealogy for over 40 years. During my travels across the nation, I go camping and visit cemeteries. My dad and I have been taking photos of grave stones in Indiana, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois and Michigan, we have been tracing our family across the nation. Now, I not only take photographs of family stones but I enjoy documenting and photographing cemeteries for Find A Grave. |

Thank you for posting the tombstone photos of my Great-Great-Great-Great Grandpa Samuel M. Cole in Concord Cemetery. I am a direct descendant of his, his son was my Great-Grandfather's Dad and I would not have found his tombstone image without your help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. He was a Union Civil War Soldier and died while on leave from measles and pneumonia. Grandma Sarah Jane (Jack) Cole took care of him and was at his side when he passed away. He was part of the Cole Family from Johns Twp, just outside Centerville, Appanoose Co, Iowa.
Hi Leslie, I just happened to notice the message you left on S. Shepards page regarding the Federated Cemetery. I just wanted to let you know that I was the one who entered the information on the main page about the cemetery. All of it came off of the MACRIS website. When a photo is added of the sign I can go and change the name of the cemetery on the Find A Grave website. I'm pretty sure it was called the Federated Cemetery because of its location. If it is actually the town of Ashland that takes care of the cemetery I can also update that information on the page. I would just rather wait until a sign photo is added before changing anything. Thank you. Denise.

I found it. It's at the same cemetery. They're all buried together side by side---Phillip and his 2 wives.
|Michael Hatfield||Margaret Baker Wertenberger|
Hi, Looking for the grave of Margaret Ellen Tutterow Baker Wertenberger, 2nd wife of Phillip (your memorial). Phillip was her 2nd husband. Is 2nd wife Margaret in same cemetery as Phillip and 1st wife Margaret? Thanks

|Sarah/Donna Burelison||wife of George Edmond Hensley|
108087784 Sarah (Sadie) Hamill was the widow of George Edmond...and they had two children, Kenneth and Helen. Ken was my husband's father. Could you please add George Edmond's wife's number to this site if when I did it, it did not work. Sadie is buried in Cottonwood, Idaho with her siblings. Their son, Kenneth, has a marker in Clarkston, WA with his wife, Mildred. And Helen is buried in Boise, Idaho as Helen Montague. They should all be connected in here. THANKS, Donna
