I have been working on my genealogy for over 40 years. During my travels across the nation, I go camping and visit cemeteries. My dad and I have been taking photos of grave stones in Indiana, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois and Michigan, we have been tracing our family across the nation. Now, I not only take photographs of family stones but I enjoy documenting and photographing cemeteries for Find A Grave.

Loren L Baughman
Dear Leslie,

I am researching my paternal grandfather's army unit, Company B, 355th Infantry, 89th Division. According to the National Directory of the 355th Infantry, Loren Baughman was a member of this unit.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this project, but I'm wanting to know if it's permissible to use your photograph of the grave of Loren L. Baughman (Find A Grave Memorial# 39879383) for any publication I might get?

Thank you!

Regards,

Bryan Anderson

RE: Caleb Moore
I will check again when I return to Oxford, which will be a month or so. Sorry for any confusion. The cemetery records included a Dr. C.B. Moore, with "(Caleb)" associated with it. The records in findagrave identify those names as two individuals, not one and the same. I will seek clarification for you and let you know, but it will be awhile before we are back there. Thanks.

Caleb Moore
Good afternoon,
I posted a photo of the only Caleb Moore gravesite in the Oxford west cemetery according to cemetery records. The middle initial and dates, however, do not match your dates, so I am in the process of learning how to delete photos and will remove them as soon as I figure it out....

HALL COUNTY;FAG PHOTO's
Good afternoon Leslie; I am a Vermont Civil War buff, living in the north/central part of Vt.. I am presently working on a project to identify the last resting places of many "Old Soldiers" of the C.W. that had any ties to this state.I have found that you have contributed several photo's of monuments/ markers for Find A Grave Memorial pages for some of these patriots. I am asking you if I may use these photo's to be posted on the Vermont Civil War site? (www.vermontcivilwar.org)

You would receive credit for this.

Thank you for your consideration.

Samuel M Cole
Thank you for posting the tombstone photos of my Great-Great-Great-Great Grandpa Samuel M. Cole in Concord Cemetery. I am a direct descendant of his, his son was my Great-Grandfather's Dad and I would not have found his tombstone image without your help. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. He was a Union Civil War Soldier and died while on leave from measles and pneumonia. Grandma Sarah Jane (Jack) Cole took care of him and was at his side when he passed away. He was part of the Cole Family from Johns Twp, just outside Centerville, Appanoose Co, Iowa.
